-Isaac's POV-

I was so worried. She was gone and I was helpless. I hadn't stopped looking for her, even though everyone had given up. She'd been gone for a month and everyone was sure she was dead. But I couldn't think that. She HAD to be alive.

I couldn't go on without her. She was literally all I'd ever had. All I'd ever... Loved. I loved her. I loved the way she always seemed to understand me and the way she always seemed to know what to say. I loved the way she looked when she was sleeping. The way she clung to me when she had a nightmare. I loved the way she walked, confident and firm despite all we went through and how messed up she is in her brain. I love the way she wakes from a nightmare and looks for me immediately. I love the way she always sleeps with me. Even if we sleep apart, she comes to me, missing me. I love the way she wakes up immediately when I move in any way, worried I was having a nightmare but she sleeps through everything else because she's the hardest sleeper ever but she's trained herself to wake up to comfort me. I loved the way she hated me calling her my sister.

And now she was gone.

I had been hesitant to tell her because we bad been beaten to believe very firmly that we were siblings. We held hands and my dad beat us. We slept together and he beat us. We almost kissed once and he'd almost killed us.

And then there was the thing of if she felt the same... Ugh.

But it didn't matter. She was gone. I just wanted to se ever one more time, alive and okay. She didn't even have to be okay, just alive. Whatever she'd been through, we'd fix her. As long as she was here, with me, alive, I would heal her.

But she had to BE here first.

I was sitting on the porch stairs, my head in my hands when I heard footsteps on the grass. I sighed and didn't bother. It wasn't her, so I didn't care.

Then Scott came out. "Oh my gosh..." He breathed. Then Lydia and Derek and then everyone. They all gasped, whispering something exclaiming disbelief. Even Derek seemed to be emotional. I looked up and I almost died right there. I stumbled, standing, and walked slowly to who was there.

"Y-y/n?" I whispered, scared she would disappear if I breathed on her.

Her face was blank and almost... Angry? She was probably freaking out, having been messed up from whatever she went through. I went to hug her and she hissed, launching backwards. I froze, feeling pain in my chest from her hateful rejection.

Then her eyes locked on mine. I gasped. They were red with blue and gold swirls, like all the werewolf eyes in one. She stared at me with so much hate I stepped back. Then she launched herself at me. I fell backwards, her on top, her hands closing around my neck and her teeth grit in effort.

The pack raced, pulling her away. They held her back as she fought against them, wolfed out, teeth bared, growls ripping from her throat and she kept her eyes trained on my neck, jaws snapping. She looked like... A rabid dog.

"Inside!" Derek yelled. "NOW!" They dragged her inside, chaining her up in the basement. She pulled against her restraints, ever trained to tear my throat out. "Get out Isaac!" Derek yelled at me. I went to argue but he shot me a death glare and I left, feeling useless and unwanted.

I'd never felt that with Y/n before. Even with my dad, I had her. But against her? I was lost in that battle... I lost, hands down.

Stiles was in front of me suddenly. I grabbed his shoulders. "How is she?"

He pursed his lips. "She wants to talk to you...?"

I screwed my eyebrows together. "O-okay..." I went in she was against the wall, limp, her head down, and everyone looked at me as I came in. They all immediately left, Scott sitting at the entrance only and everyone else leaving. "Y/n?" I whispered.

Her fists clenched and I saw every muscle in her body tense, but other wise she didn't move. "I-Isaac?" She forced through her clenched jaw.

"Yes...?" I said nervously.

"C-come he-ere p-p-please," she whispered.

I took slow, genitive steps to her. I kneeled down in front of her and she immediately snapped to attention, reaching for my neck. I grabbed her wrists, read for it, and stared into her eyes. They were the same, hateful eyes. No love in her eyes at all. Not even a speck of friendliness in any way.

"Why do you hate me?" I whispered.

"You'll... Pay... For... Her... Death..." She forced out.

"Who's?" I asked, intensely keeping our eyes lock.

"MY MOTHERS!" She shrieked.

I clenched my jaw. "I didn't kill her," I eased out.

"YOUR DAD DID! YOU DESERVE TO ROT! THE BOTH OF YOU!" She shrieked.

"Why do I deserve to die?" I asked.

"BECAUSE HIS BLOOD RUNS THROUGH YOUR VEINS. IT NEEDS TO END! FOREVER!"

"You're going to kill me because of what my dad did?" I asked.

"YES!" She yelled. Then her eyes seemed to flicker with something for a millisecond. She screamed in pain, her eyes shutting tightly and she shook her head. "NO! YES!" She seemed to be fighting with herself. "YES!" She settled on.

There was something going on. I could get through to her. There was only one thing I could think of. Time to test it. I kissed her. For a millisecond she leaned in desperately, hungry for me. It was her for a millisecond. Then she bit my lip and I hissed, leaning back.

"DON'T TOUCH ME!" She shrieked. "I WON'T LET A LAHEY TOUCH ME AGAINST MY WILL LIKE MY MOTHER DID!"

"I won't touch you again if you don't want me to," I said softly.

"I..."

"Tell me you hate me one more time," I said. "Tell me you want me to die and I'll let you kill me. Tell me you hate me and I'll let you kill me. Tell me you don't want me to touch you ever again and I will never live to touch anything ever again."

"Why would you do that?" She whispered.

"Because without you, I might as well just die," I answered her.

Her face went slack. Her body went slack. She fell to the side and I caught her. I looked at her for a long time.

Then her hands shot out and wrapped around my neck. I choked, blinking hard, until Scott was there, peeling her away.

I passed out.
