We'd just gotten back from the parade. We'd gone to town and quite a lot of people were there. We kissed in the street as everyone cheered and I'd never felt happier. She was beautiful right now. She had a huge grin on her face and her eyes were sparkling.
The celebration had been amazing. She looked hot in her little outfit, which she'd coordinated to have rainbow patterns and still be very sexy. Her hair was done, riddled with confetti. She was glowing.
I pulled her to me by her hips, kissing her.
"I love you, Lyds," I told her, looking in her eyes.
"I love you too," she responded, beaming.
I don't think I could have spent the day better.
