Cameron's pov

I was confused as hell at what was going on!!

The conversation Stacy and Aaron had in front of all of us didn't make sense.

Stacy was accusing of Lexi being a murderer whereas Aaron was reflecting her as a hero.

I can believe anything but Lexi killing someone. She can't do it accidentally forget about on purpose.

She's too innocent for her own good.

I saw tears coming out of her eyes and I think she started to have a panic attack again.

Not being able to hear all of this she ran out of the cafeteria sobbing.

After Aaron got Stacy to shut up we all stood up and started looking for Lexi.

"Lexi!!! Lexi!!" We all shouted when I heard someone sobbing in the girl's washroom.

"Guys I think I found her," I told them and they all came running and busted inside.

The scene that I had in front of me broke my heart.

There on the ground played a sobbing Lexi curled up in a ball squeezing herself between the small place.

Her whole face was red from crying.

Aroon took her into his embrace and started whispering calming words to her.

From their faces, it looked like they all knew something that happened in the past which was the reason why Lexi was like this right now.

She calmed down a bit and looked up and instantly her deep blue eyes met my plain green ones.

Everyone noticed this and went out giving us some space not before whispering calming words to her and kissing her forehead.

As soon as they left I quickly wrapped my arms around her and leaned in for a soft kiss.

She looked so fragile. So broken.

"Please don't cry lex. I can't see you like this. It breaks my heart" I whispered.

"Do you want to tell me? You don't have to. But if you want I am right here." I wanted to reassure her.

After a moment she nodded and began.

"You might think of me as a monster but just remember that if I could switch places I definitely would have," she said broken.

"So I had a sister named Mikayla. She was beautiful. Blond hair, crystal blue eyes, sweet, kind. Everything. We all were really close. She was 16 when I was 10 when this incident happened" she said then took a shaky breath and continued.

"It was a normal night and pretty late and I wanted a chocolate. Everyone was asleep except her so I asked her and she agreed. We both went to the grocery shop down the road and while coming back there was this ally beside us.

A drunk guy came and stopped us. It was actually her ex-boyfriend Adam. As soon as she saw who he was she pushed my behind a large dustbin can and hid me. I saw Adam beating her and trying to rape her. I panicked. 

I realized I had her phone with me and called 911 and informed them to come where we were. Unfortunately, he heard my voice and pulled mine by my hair from behind the dustbin.

 I screamed and begged him to stop beating her but he didn't instead he shot me. I heard the police sirens and Adam curse out loud that be would come back for revenge before I blacked out."

"When I woke up I was in the hospital surrounded by everyone except Mikayla. They told me that the police had caught him but there was no sign of her. Adam and shot me on my stomach so it wasn't really that dangerous. Everyone assumed that Mikayla died but we never found her body.

 I still believe she's alive because that day at the hospital I caught a glimpse of her peeking through the door looking at me but I was really dizzy at that time so I am not sure." She explained.

She had been through so much. This is probably why she gets panic attacks and why Aaron is so protective of her.

He doesn't want to loose his other sister.

"You know I blamed me for all this. I still do. It was all my fault. I am a monster" she said crying again.

I hugged her tighter.

"No, it's not Lexi. It wasn't your fault. You were really brave there. You are anything but a monster" with this I smashed my lips with her trying to take away her sorrow.

I can't see the girl I love like this.

That's right

I love her with my whole heart.

And Finally the mystery of her past is revealed. But how did stacy know about this?? And where is adam now?
