Who's face forever couldn't tame
Who's hands aeons couldn't rough
Who's laugh Never couldn't quell
And who's eyes, who's eyes, who's immortal eyes thrummed the beat of a different drum.
Who's eyes, in darkness played, with fire all through.
And just the ghost of midnights,
And glimpses of twilights and strange just barely suns
Did dare to stray.
Who's eyes danced to wild thoughts
And fiersome beasts whos names mean all,
And dabs of dark and dusk that haunts and entrances,
And dreams of dreams best left forgotten.
Those immortal eyes that tamed,
And drove to frenzy,
And wove spells that ensnared men,
And were cold and harsh,
And kind and warm,
And who's face,
And hands,
And laugh spoke volumes,
But always, always always left,
The final, secret, telling to,
Those eyes, those immortal eyes.
