Chapter 28: Tomoe vs. Jaja

Day 5

"Jaja, you have to practice extra hard so that you can beat Tomoe and become the Starlight Queen." Akiko said.

"You should change your routine a little, too." Shiyomi said.

"What do you mean?" Jaja asked.

"You should add some more to the dance." Kimiko said.

"Yeah, like another special appeal or you could even change one of the dance moves." Shizu said.

"Just a little bit, though." Akiko said.

"Those are some good ideas! Thanks, guys!" Jaja yelled running to the gym.

Gym

Jaja quickly got on a trampoline and began to jump.

When she was in the air, she spun around three times then came back down.

Then she saw someone doing backflips on the trampoline beside her.

It was Tomoe.

"What are you doing?" Jaja asked getting off the trampoline.

"Well, I'm practicing for my special appeals." Tomoe said.

"Special appeals?" Jaja questioned.

"Yeah. I decided on doing two." Tomoe said.

"I wanted to do something that would make my performance more entertaining." Tomoe added.

"I was actually thinking of doing the same." Jaja responded.

"Then, that will just make our performances harder to judge, won't it?" Tomoe said.

"Yup." Jaja chuckled.

"I'm going to get back to practicing, Jaja-san." Tomoe said.

"Me too." Jaja said climbing back onto the trampoline.

"I have to do something amazing so that I can beat Tomoe." Jaja thought to herself.

{Time Lapse}

"It's the final day of the Starlight Queen Cup and our two finalists are going head-to-head to see who will become our new Starlight Queen!" The announcer yelled.

"Today we'll have three opening performances, all by our runner-ups from our previous Starlight Queen Cups!"

"Now to start us off we have, Hoshimiya Ichigo!" He announced her name.

Ichigo entered on the Triple Melody Stage and sang, 'Calendar Girl'.

"Sunday Monday Chu-Chu Tuesday
Mekutte calendar girl, watashi no mainichi
Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday
Tsunagatte, brand-new week...." Ichigo sang.

Ichigo's flowery aura filled the stadium.

"Sunshine, omatase kyō mo yoroshiku
Sakki no kibun mo wasurechatte
Dash de sakamichi kakeagatte ikō!" She continued.
