Today I finally don't have to train I get to go do the job only a few people ever will know about. I get to go kill demons. My mom before me also killed demons with my dad Jace, Aunt Isabelle, Uncle Simon, and Uncle Alec. Aunt Isabelle gave me her whip today as a gift for my first hunt. It's going to be so fun.
Two hours later
I did it!! I killed my first demon it was kind of hard because the stupid fucker wouldn't die. When he finally did die it had been almost three hours. As I was walking with my mom I saw something was wrong.
It was a teenage boy fighting the other demon I thought Aunt Isabelle had killed. Up on closer inspection I saw he wasn't a regular shadow hunter, no he was in a capital guard uniform. He seemed so familiar, like I had seen him before. Mom hurried me to get back to the Church that we lived in.
