Author's Note: I KNOW. I'm SO. SORRY. For the long absence. I have been extremely swamped with uni deadlines. But someone private messaged me to continue and it really encouraged me - you know who you are! Thank you for your continued support, I appreciate it more than you can imagine.

Sometimes I still can't get over the end of Bbyu and will look back on old episodes and smile to myself, wondering how they're both doing and if they still contact each other.. But definitely can't get over the way Sungjae sits and just looks at Joy in their last episode together. Quietly, like he's drinking in how she looks and forever committing it to memory. They've both lost weight for their comeback and I hope it's not because they're too sad, because that means they're not secretly contacting each other. Especially after what Sungjae said about having an ideal type being meaningless after meeting Joy, I hope he means it enough to secretly pursue her.

Chapter Six: 그대 눈을 볼 때면 자꾸 가슴이 또 설레여와 (My Heart Keeps Fluttering When Our Eyes Meet)

Chigeum mo hae?

Joy looked at her phone and smiled. Ever since they went for bingsoo that night, Sungjae has been texting her daily. He's really bad with expressing affection, so he always goes for nonchalant, like he couldn't care less about what she's doing. But she realised that even though his texts were usually succinct, he always managed to express just enough concern about her day.

During their promotion for Dumb Dumb, she had to sing while having a cold and her voice came out sounding slightly hoarse, cracking a few times while she tried to do her ad libs on stage. The day the video was released, he suddenly texted her about these "very effective cough drops that he randomly found" (his words, not hers), complete with the full name and where to buy it. It was endearing, and she often found herself smiling when she recalls these moments.

Finally done with practice tonight, so I'm back at our dorm. Manager-nim gave us the day off tomorrow since we've been working so hard! I'm making full use of my time by preparing early for bed now so that I can enjoy my break sleeping :)

She sipped on hot milk as she pressed send. It has been a habit these days to drink milk before bed. It was Sungjae's suggestion, actually. He recommended her to (more like demanded she did it) when he found out that it took her a long time to fall asleep at night. He had told her off, nagging at her to take care of her body and sleep well, especially since she has such a packed schedule.

Great! I'm free from noon, since I only have a photoshoot tomorrow in the morning. Want to do something fun?

Joy could almost hear his playful smirk behind his text. She thought about it for a while before she texted back her reply.

What do you have in mind?

You'll just have to wait and see ;)

Alright, fine. But it better be fun!

PFT, it will be fun because you're with me! Pick you up at noon!

She read his text right as she snuggled under her covers. Well, tomorrow should be interesting. And she could finally sleep in while he had his photoshoot. Her head hit the pillow and she immediately drifted off - thanks to the warm feeling in her tummy.

"An amusement park?! WAH!!!" Joy's eyes sparkled as she twirled around in circles. She was hyper from being so well-rested and content with his choice for a date. "Eotteoke arasseo? I love amusement parks!"
