The Farmers Daughter (a Luke Bryan fan fiction)

Bonfire

I woke up wrapped in blankets and decided to get up and make some breakfast for savannah and I.

"hey what are you making?" Savannah asked when she walked down the hall to the kitchen.

"chocolate chip pancakes, your favorite." I answered.

"That's your favorite and you know it!" She said with a laugh.

"True, true."

We ate in silence because we where to busy stuffing our faces with food. I didn't realize how hungry I actually was until now.

"So I heard that there's gonna be a bonfire later tonight, you wanna come with me?"

"Yeah sure when does it start?" I asked.

"About 6." She answer simply.

"Okay well then I'm gonna take a morning nap then get ready." I said.

"Same." Said savannah, typical savannah.

I went back to my room and quickly fell asleep thinking about tonight.

I woke up at about 4:30 and decided to wake up savannah. She went to get ready and so did I.

I decided to wear tight faded blue jeans and a blue button down flannel with a white tank top underneath. I quickly took a shower and curled my hair. I added natural makeup.

Savannah and I both got done around the same time and headed out the door.

Once we arrived savannah disappeared. Great. I decided to got over and sit on one of the tailgates, I didn't know who's it was, and quit frankly, I didn't care.

I heard cash come on and mindlessly started dancing on the tail gate, I might have forgot to mention I was a little tipsy. Oops.

When the song ended a extremely handsome man wearing a John deer hat walked up to the tailgate.

"I saw you dancin' on my tail gate." I blushed hard.

"I'm sorry I didn't know it was yours." I said while jumping down and almost falling but I was caught by 2 strong arms.

"Woah are you okay?" He asked and I noticed his strong southern drawl, and boy was it attractive.

"yeah, thanks for catching me." I said

"no problem, umm, what's your name?" He asked.

"Ashlynn, what about you?" I asked.

"Luke, well Thomas Luther Bryan, but every one calls me Luke." He said.

"That's cool, I've never met anyone who goes by their middle name." I said.

"thanks, you have a beautiful name Ashlynn." Luke said which made me blush hard once again.

"Thanks." I said.

"You wanna sit?" Luke asked

"sure." I answered and the butterflies in my stomach fluttered harder.

We sat for what felt like hours and just talked. And I can't help but think that I'm falling for the boy in the John deer hat.

A little bit later on (see what I did there?) Luke asked "you wanna get out of here?"

"Of course." I answered.

"Can I take you somewhere special to me?" Luke asked and I nodded.

He opened the passenger door for me and helped me in and I scooted to the middle and laid on his shoulder.

We arrived to a tree house looking thing and once again he helped me out of the truck and we climbed the latter to the top with no hesitation.
