Latoya pov
"Stay where I can see you." I told Caleb as he ran off to the playground.I was entertaining Noah with my car keys while he kicked his feet in my lap.
I laughed at him then saw Drew approaching me.
"Wassup bestie." He said and kissed my forehead.
I smiled. "Hey Drew."
No we didn't work out. We both agreed we are better as friends.
"Wassup Nelly." He said grabbing Noah.
I started laughing. "Do not call my baby that."
"Yea yea what you been doing?"
I sighed. "Nothing much. Staying at home watching Caleb bad ass and Noah."
"You want a break?"
"Nah I'm good maybe later though."
"Okay I gotta go, tell Cay I said wassup." He said handing me Noah.
I nodded. "Bye."
We stayed at the park for 4 damn hours.
"Caleb lets go now!" I said placing Noah in his carrier.
"Not yet mom."
"Do not make me pull you off that swing."
And of course he starts having a fit. That boy a cry baby.
"Shut up I don't want to hear it." I said grabbing his hand and pulling him to the car.
I pulled off and started driving home with him still screaming his head off.
After about 30 minutes later I couldn't take it.
"Shut the fuck up!" I yelled turning around and popping him.
I turned and looked at the road to see a man standing in the middle of the street.
I slammed on the breaks hitting the man.
"Oh my gosh!" I hopped out the car and ran to the man's side.
"Sir? Are you okay? Sir?" I said tapping him.
He slowly opened his eyes. And when he saw me he smiled.
"Uhh are you okay?" I helped him up.
"Yea I think so."
"Sorry for hitting you with my car."
"It's good."
I looked him up and down.
"Are you homeless?" I asked.
"I guess you can say that."
"You need a place to stay for a little while?"
"I wouldn't want to get into any trouble with ya husband-"
"It's just me and my sons."
.................
"So what were doing in the middle of the street anyways?" I said cooking some Shrimp and grits.
