"Why were you all mad in music?" I asked Jake as we ate our ice cream sitting on our boards downtown.
He shook his head. "You just seem to have a lot of guys interested in you."
"What? Are you kidding Jake, no I don't."
He stopped eating his ice cream and looked at me. "Are you kidding M? You had 2 guys compliment you in math, 1 at lunch, and 1 during music." I thought about it and smiled.
"Are you jealous Jakeey?" I smirked
"Well-" Jake started and then stopped as my phone went off, it was Kalin.
"M where the hell are you? I wanna go get pizza, hurry up." He complained
"You go without me, Im talking to a teacher and then Im gonna hang out with Jake I think." I lied
"Ok fine Ill eat all alone." He pretended to cry. "Text me when you're coming home ok?"
"Fore sure K, love you bye."
"Love you too M."
I turned back to Jake "Sorry, you were saying?"
"Nothing, it doesn't matter."
"Jake come on, yeah it does."
He huffed and looked down "Yeah Mckenna Im jealous."
I was a bit surprised he admitted it.
"Well Jake-"
"Mckenna I like you a lot and I thought you could tell but apparently not." He interrupted me.
I sat there shocked at his honesty.
