Zero's P.O.V
She turned to face me. For a split second I swear I saw Shizuka in her. It disgusts me. She's most definitely one of them. Looks can be deceiving.
"What?"
She was still staring at me.
"What's your name?" She asked innocently. How gross. Innocent vampires? No such thing.
"Zero."
"Zero..?"
"How is that any of your business?" I snapped. I have no patience with vampires and their stupid games.
"I guess not." She shrugged, going back to her book in her hands and returning to her previous spot on her suitcase in the corner.
"I'd like you two to show Mari around. Give her the official tour!" Headmaster Cross produced some cheesy merchandise from under his desk (I don't even know.. Just don't ask..).
"No thank you!" I huffed pulling Yuki away from the stupid merchandise. She felt bad for Cross and took one of the little flags. "Come on." I sighed, pulling her out before she emptied the entire 'store' for Cross.
"Wait! What about Mari?" Yuki struggled.
"Right here." Mari followed behind us with a headphone in and pulling her suitcase. Somehow she had one of Cross's hats on her head. I clicked my tongue in annoyance. Guess she doesn't have manners. She glanced up at me, then went back to her book.
Yuki frowned seeing her lack of attention. I opened my mouth to give Mari a piece of my mind when she interjected.
"So where are we going first?" Her eyes never left her book. Can't she read that later? "I apologise for my rudeness, I'm not ignoring you. Carry on." She shut her book and smiled at Yuki. Yuki seemed impressed with her 'manners', but I see through her act. I noticed a small silver charm of a stallion dangling from the pages of her book. Was it there before? Who knows, who cares.

Yuki was blabbing away to Mari about the school and its history and the Kaien's theory about vampires and humans co-exsisiting. Mari seemed to only tune in on the part of Kaien's theory.
"That'll never happen." She muttered, rolling her eyes.
"What was that?" Thank god Yuki missed that or we'd be here for days on end with her trying to convince us about how it will work. But at least the vampire can think straight about some things.
I could tell all through the tour she wasn't listening, only occasionally chiming 'oh really?'. That sneaky vampire is plotting something. Yuki bought into it all and didn't bother turning around to check if the vampire was actually paying attention. I spent the time observing Mari. She seemed fairly normal, but very interested in the architecture of the building. If she wasn't looking around the room, she was staring out a window.
'I wonder if she's thinking about blood.'
Dammit! Get that grubby thought out my head!
I decided to look out the window and see what she was staring at. It was quite beautiful. The stars were shining on the dark blue sky, a clear night.
I was so focused on the night, I lost Yuki and Mari. Dammit! Pull yourself together! I left Yuki with that vampire! Who knows what problems she'll cause?!

3rd person
"And these are the classrooms where you'll be attending class!" Yuki explained happily as Mari listened quietly. Mari shot her another warm smile. Yuki really liked Mari. She thought she was kind, considerate and thoughtful.
"Thank you Yuki." She smiled again, staring again into her book she had opened once more.
"We lost Zero?" Yuki realised. Mari simply nodded and sat on her suitcase. Walking around was tiring.
Yuki began walking around the area, careful not to stray too far from Mari, calling Zero.
Not as if Mari would go anywhere.
"Hey Mari, I'm just going to look for— Aido!" Yuki ran over defensively pushing Mari behind her who was staring at her book, seemingly completely unaware of the blonde idol vampire that was bedside her and about to attack her. "What are you doing here Aido? Shouldn't you be in class?"
"Class was boring, so we decided to take a walk." Aido stretched his arms above his head as Akatsuki appeared behind him, chilled as always. "Besides we have a gorgeous new student!"
Mari looked up from her book at the blonde, silent for a moment before asking, "Who are you?"
"My name is Aido! Or you can call me Idol!"
"Oh. I'm Mari." She nodded to show her acknowledgment before returning her attention to her book. Aido was shocked she wasn't the slightest bit attracted to his looks.
"That's a lovely name!"
"Thanks," She mumbled without even looking away from the pages.
"What are you reading?"
"A book."
"Now, now, no need to be so cold." Aido smiled. Her eye remained glued to the book. She turned a page and sat silently as the others sweat dropped.
"You don't talk much." The orange haired vampire commented.
She didn't reply.
"Hmph! So rude! But it's okay," Aido appeared next to the girl with glowing red eyes.
"Aido! Stop right there!" Akatsuki sighed and held fighting Yuki back by her arm as Aido smirked.
He placed a hand on her shoulder, smelling her neck, "It's easier when they're quiet."
Mari's visible eye moved to look at the blonde 'idol'. "I suggest you move your hand off my shoulder."
"You're interesting..."
They heard a click of a gun.
"Let Yuki go." Akatsuki released Yuki with an amused smirk as she blushed because she had to be saved again by Zero.
"Oh you're back." Mari commented plainly.
"Ooh how scary! We were only welcoming the new student." Aido wrapped his arm around Mari's shoulder, pulling her close. Mari tensed up. Zero snapped.

Aido opened his eyes to see Mari standing and out of breath, a gunshot ringing in the air. He realised he'd hit the floor, his uniform no longer a pristine white.
"I said don't touch me." She spat picking up her book from the floor. The hard black cover had a bullet buried in it. She sighed, "Yuki, may you show me to my room, I'm rather tired from the journey."

A/N- Tada I made Mari do something °_°
