1. Clary
She's never felt more safe. She's never felt more secure by her self. She's never felt more comfortable in her own skin. She felt free. She felt liberated. She felt not one ounce of guilt, and after all, she shouldn't have to. He was horribly cruel. She didn't deserve how she was treated. She may not remember how she was treated exactly, but it had to be horrible. Dr. Lends tells the story so horribly precise, she has no other choice but to believe her. After all, Dr. Lends was the only person there for her after the accident. Dr. Lends also came up with the perfect escape plan. If it wasn't for Dr. Lends, how could Clary have survived another day with that monster? She doesn't hope him well, she's not even concerned with how he might be doing now. The only concern she has is for his thoughts. Does he miss her? Has he even realized she's gone? What will he do once he notices?
Pushing her worries and doubts aside, Clary purchases the plane ticket, waiting for the phone call from Dr. Lends. She nervously taps her finger on her already shaking knee. What is taking her so long? What if he already found out? In the midst of her thoughts, her phone vibrates, indicating it's Dr. Lends.
"I'm here, I've already purchased the ticket. I'm starting to have second thoughts, doc. What if he knows?" Clary breathes into the phone, anxiously awaiting for Dr. Lends reassuring voice. Clary is almost like a dog waiting on the command from her master. It is unclear if Clary realizes this, but she wouldn't care anyway. Dr. Lends is taking her away from her abusive husband, does it really matter whether Dr. Lends is bossy or not?
"What kind of thinking is that? We've progressed way too much for you to start having doubts now. Remember how that bastard treated you, use being thousands of miles away from him as motivation." Dr. Lends said firmly, her voice filled with confidence. Dr. Lends always knew exactly how to calm Clary down from her mini anxiety attacks. Clary prefers Dr. Lends soft, kind words rather than any medication there is. Clary sees her as a mother figure she never had, or better said; a mother she doesn't remember. Sometimes, she felt as if she's known her her whole life. But it's obvious she only feels like that because she doesn't remember anyone else in her life.
"You're right, I have nothing to fear. Do I?" Clary questioned, her voice just as shaky as before. Poor girl, has been put through the wringer by her worries. But how could she not be worried? Is this plan as full-proof as Dr. Lends describes?
"Oh, of course not Clarrisa, he won't be a problem to us any longer." Dr. Lends almost chuckled.
"How can you be so sure-"
"Get on the plane, Clarrisa. I'll meet you when you land in a few hours. No more worrying darling." Dr. Lends said a bit less patient than she was before. Clary puts up her phone and boards the plane. Thinking to her self, Clary chuckles as she is seated. 'I've never even thought of escaping, and never in my life even boarded a plane. Dear god, please take my worries away.'

A/N: hey guys :) I'm not new to the whole writing thing, but I am human and I do make mistakes. If you spot any do not hesitate to tell, I would kindly appreciate it actually.
My primary inspiration for this story started when I read "The Secret" by Monrosey . If you haven't yet, I suggest you read it and also read the sequel; "Secrets And Lies." Also her most known for book; "Strawberry Wine".
In "The Secret", the main character, Talia (Sarah) runs away from her truly horrible husband who eventually finds her but not before she meets Charlie. Although she did inspire me, these books will be polar opposites. One example is where as the husband in "The Secret" (Steven) was really horrible, Ethan (the husband in this story) is actually a sweetheart and Clary only believes he is a monster. (As you will see in the next chapter)
I just wanted to give credit where it's due :) I also took the liberty to already post the next chapter :D I know, I know, I'm amazing. And before I leave,
UPDATES WILL BE EVERY MONDAY (just to lighten up your week)
