"What happened earlier?" he says, clearly a tad humored by my mannerisms. But he also likes seeing me happy and not thinking hard about things like usual.
I turn my body so that I am fully facing him and I begin explaining, "Alright, so Darcy, Pietro, Wanda, and I were together and goofing off and then Darcy and Pietro did something cute and I was like, 'Oh man, I ship it so hard,' and they were all like, 'What?' And so I told them what it was and Wanda freaking used her mind powers to make them kiss. It was so epic! I died of laughter and it was so cute. Man, I ship them so much."

I giggle. "It was. So, what have you been doing up here, Mr. Emo god of boy bands?" I ask, using the old nickname Pietro gave him.
"You're not making any sense. Can you see straight? I don't think you're going to remember any of this tomorrow," he exaggerates my state purposefully.

I laugh at him. "I'm not hammered, just a bit tipsy. At least, I think I am. We raided Stark's alcohol stash. It was fun."
