Once upon a time, there was...
"Not sure that was a benefit or not," Darcy states and then shivers.
Pietro frowns and pulls off his jacket to give it to her without thinking and she flattens her lips with a little bit of surprise, her cheeks blushing.
"Aw aren't you two just the cutest thing?" Wanda teases.
I giggle. "Oh man, I ship it so hard."
"You what?" Pietro asks.
I look away and sigh sadly. "Gosh, I can't believe I have to explain this. Basically, I imagine you guys as a couple in my mind."
"That sounds kinda creepy," Darcy says.

"Wait so you picture them like this?" Wanda asks and opens her hand to let scarlet mist fly into them and suddenly they grab each other and kiss passionately on the lips, Darcy's fingers in his hair and his around her waist before she lets her mind control end and they part, both of them blushing red and their eyes wide.
My eyes widen and I fall on my back, clutching my ribs as I laugh loudly. When I finally feel the laughter subside a bit, I sit up and wipe my eyes and start to giggle at their faces. "Oh man, yeah. That's exactly it. Thank you for that. You've made my day."
"Oh no problem, I think I made theirs as well," she says before starting to laugh.
"Dammit I told you to stop doing that," Pietro stutters awkwardly, still nervous as he takes in what just happened.
Darcy is staring off into space, completely zoned out and not breathing, her eye twitching once.
I wave my hand in front of her face. "Darcy? You ok?"
"...Yeah... I think I'll be alright," she mutters, not moving. "Eventually..."
"Really? You broke Darcy!" Wanda scolds Pietro.
"That was your fault!" He replies, trying not to laugh.
I chuckle at their antics. "Technically it was my fault... I brought it up. Sorry Darcy."
"You're welcome," she replies, not registering what I said.
"I'll fix her," Pietro says and leans over to kiss her on the cheek.
Immediately she perks up and shakes her head to clear her mind and return to reality. "Did someone just kiss me?" She frowns.
Wanda cracks a chuckle and Pietro says, "Nope. Nothing like that happened."
