Martyn's POV

The forest elf felt grateful for Rythian's help. He knew the mage had no reason to bring him into his home, and offer him asylum. Thankfully, Zoey's natural compassion for people influenced Rythian enough to let him stay there for the night. He woke up at dawn like usual. But this time there was no Toby, no green tents, no InTheLittleCorp. I sat on the floor next to my bed and cried quietly to myself. I hated being alone like this. I missed my brother. I don't know how Rythian did it. All my friends abandoning me. At the moment it seems like Rythian is the only one I can trust. I sat in my room and wrote in a book I found in my bag.

"Diary of InTheLittleWood also known as Martyn LittleWood.

If anyone finds this, this is the truth. And only the truth. I've been on the run for three days. All my friends but Rythian have turned against me. Toby is the real traitor. He tried to kill me... My own brother... I am currently seeking shelter at BlackRock stronghold. I wish things could go back to how they use to be.

This is Martyn signing off for now."

I put the book back in my bag. I had stopped crying and I wiped my eyes. It was nice to write about it. Xephos's POVI sat on the bed, tapping by left foot impatiently as I waited for Lalna. A few moments later the scientist scurried over. "Got good news, bad news and somewhat worse news friend. The bad news is your legs broken""What?!" I snapped at him. "Well it can easily be fixed with a life stone." Lalna said calmly."Fine, then give me yours." Lalna looked a little embarrassed. It took a moment before it finally clicked in my head. "You didn't." I said slightly annoyed. "I may have... Misplaced it..." He said, finding a sudden interest with the floor."You had to lose it, didn't you!" "Hey! My castles bloody huge!" Lalna snapped back and I sighed. "Doesn't Rythian have a life stone?" I stated holding the bridge of my nose with my fingers. "He's a mage, he has to have one." I said with hope. After getting a nod from Lalna I got up and grabbed a pair of crutches that Lomadia was making me use. I started to walk with them, looking around. "Rythian!" I yelled out looking around but the mage was not in sight. "Rythian! Where are you?!" I yelled looking around Zoey came up to me a few minutes later."Oh, Umm... Ryth Left." she said quietly. "What?! We're in a state of emergency and he leaves?!" I say rather pissed off. Zoey takes a few steps back. I sigh. "I apologize for yelling Zoey. I just need to use his life stone. " "Doesn't Lalna have one?" She asked puzzled."He lost it." I glared at Lalna and he walked away, his face slightly red."Oh. Well Rythian does have one, but he's back at BlackRock.""Well that's just great... Who's gonna get him." I say aloud. Dead silence all at once. No one wanted to confront a grumpy Rythian. Even I knew it was a bad idea. But we need his magic. "Well come on. Who's gonna get 'em?" I ask again. Sips, Sjin, and Lalna are nudged forward. "Whoa whoa whoa, wait. This is not a good idea." Zoey interrupts. She was right. They all hated Rythian, But no one else volunteered."Anyone else?....Please..?" I say please quietly. No one else stepped up. I sighed and looked back at the three grinning men. I knew this was not going to end well. Rythian's POVI slept in to around noon. My hair was all disheveled and I was still tired. I got up from bed and got dressed, walking straight down stairs. Martyn was there on the couch. He was watching a bit of Tv looking amazed at the screen. Has he never seen a Tv before? I walked into the room and Martyn turned around."Morning Rythian." He said and gave a small smile. "Morning." I say rubbing my eyes yawning. I went into the kitchen and made myself lunch. I used up the last of the coal."Want anything to eat?" I asked him. Martyn came running in and quickly sat down at the table."Yes please! Some chicken would be great." He says and I look around for something to burn. I look through the chest picking out a sapling. "This will have to do." I mumble and throw it in the furnace. A few seconds later a hear a yelp and I turn around to see Martyn gripping his chest, cringing. He darts over pushing me over slightly in a panic, and he takes out the sapling in one swift movement. Martyn quickly runs it over to the sink and puts it under some cold water. I stare at him for a bit before saying "What.. Just happened.." His breathing slows down as he calms himself. "My...Life force. Is tied to the forest." He says out of breath. "If it dies near me I feel it's pain. Too much, could even kill me." I was at a lost for words. I've never heard of anything like this. Suddenly I hear a loud banging on the door. "Rythian! Open up!" I hear someone yell. I signal for Martyn to wait in the kitchen and I walk over to the door opening it slowly. Sips, Sjin, and Lalna are there. "What do you want?" I ask with a frown."You need to come with us." Lalna says with a smirk. "No." I say flatly, slamming the door. A few seconds later there's more pounding on the door I growl turning back around yelling at the door. "What?!" "Rythian open the door or were coming in." I forgot about Martyn for a moment. He was so quiet eating his chicken, he managed to cook with some wood. "No" I say again crossing my arms. I heard Lalna tell them to get back. "I swear to Notch Lalna. If you blow up my door I'll k-" I didn't get to finish my threat. I was forced back by an explosion. Yep. He blew up my door. I hit the wall behind me. The sound of the explosion almost made Martyn choked on his chicken. I got up and rubbed my head. I was beyond pissed. "You did not just blow up my door!" I yell at him, my eyes grow a deeper shade of purple but I try to calm myself. It is harder without Zoey. Lalna simply walked over the rumble of what use to be my door like it was nothing, sliding his goggles off his face and mounting them back on his forehead. Sips walked in next to him and spotted the kitchen. "Food raid!" He yelled sprinting into the kitchen."No!" I yelled running after him. "Well, well, well. Look who's here Sjin." Sips said with a smirk. Martyn got up and took out his sword. I ran in and stood next to him. "Martyn?! Rythian! What the Nether?!" Lalna yelled at me. I didn't expect them to understand."He's innocent Lalna." I say trying to control my anger. "He's as innocent as Herobrine, Rythian." Sjin says, his eyes still locked on Martyn. "Stop being so stubborn Rythian! He's the traitor!" Lalna says irritated. I slowly reach for my red matter katar in my belt. Purple fire dances in my eyes. Martyn looked over to me."Rythian... Calm down. I don't want to fight my friends." We stared at each other for a moment and I released my katar from my grasp, letting it fall back into its holster. "Fine. But if we're surrendering, it's on my terms." I say calming down."And that would be.." Lalna asked."You don't touch us, you don't lock Martyn up until everyone heard his story. And, lalna you can fix my door. Without using science.""And if we decline?" Sips then asked."Then we have a bloody fight, your choice." I say crossing my arms. The three talk it over, were they serious? After a few minutes they finally speak up. "We prefer to fight." I was honestly not expecting that. But if they wanted a fight, a fight they'll get.
