“Is she alright?” Jaden asked concerned

“She’s not alright. She’s all white” Peter answered

Jaden and I snapped our heads towards him frowning.

Peter held his hands up shaking his head. “Fine. I won’t interfere. I’m just saying, she’s been out for thirty minutes now” Peter said shrugging

We’re all gawking at Paige who is now laying on her cozy black couch. My poor best friend looked so pale. Nag-desisyon kami na iuwi na lang siya sa apartment niya since 15 minutes drive lang ang layo ng bahay mula sa office. 

OA naman kasi ni Paige eh. Pero hindi ko naman siya masisisi dahil patay na patay talaga siya sa guwapong Jaden na ito. Bakit ba kasi noong nagsabog yata ng biyaya ang Diyos eh sinalo lahat ng lalaking ito? Walang perpektong tao pero si Jaden? Parang exemption siya sa kasabihan na iyon. Parang wala akong maipintas sa kanya eh. Ah meron pala, medyo masyado lang siyang bilib sa sarili niya.  Asar eh nho?

I stood straight sighing deeply “She’ll be fine. Maya-maya lang gising na yan. Let’s go get some coffee” I suggested then walked towards Paige’s kitchen 

Jaden and Peter followed me right away. Peter sat onto the nearest chair while Jaden leant his back onto the counter, with his arms folded over his chest, legs crossed, looking at me amused.

“So, you need some help?” he offered with a goofy smile  

I glanced at him making my breath caught in my throat. His smile alone makes me want to melt. “No thanks. I can handle it” I said nervously

“That Chris dude, is that your ex?” Jaden asked

“Yep, 4th” I replied quickly, glancing at him

“4th?” he asked amused

“Yep 4th. Do you have a problem with that?” I asked casually

“Nope, not at all. Those 4 exes of yours are all losers anyway” he said grinning, voice smugly

I raised my brow then glance at him “Losers? Really? And who’s the winner then? You?” I mumbled smirking

His smirked grew even wider “Definitely. Because officially, I’m your 1st and we both know that” he said with a wicked smile

My face reddened because he was right. He was my first but I doubt the “last” thing. He’s not staying that long I know. Sooner or later, he’ll leave me.
