Chapter 5

This morning I called Lizzie's doctor. I don't normally get angry, but today I did. I let him know that the way he spoke to her was unacceptable. I also insisted he immediately call Lizzie to apologize.

Of course some paparazzi got a picture of Lizzie and I in the park yesterday. The accompanying article hinted that we were having an affair.

I called Lizzie to make sure she was feeling better. She assured me she was. When I asked how Liam felt about the article in the paper...she didn't say much.

Liam's a smart guy, and he knows me pretty well. I can't believe he doesn't see how I feel about Lizzie.

"So you think that Liam knew all along?" Alice asks.

"I'm sure he had a feeling. How could he not?"

"Lizzie didn't."

Harry smiles. "Or did she?"

Alice raises her eyebrows, then reaches for the next page.

"This one is hard for me, I'm going to go outside for a bit."

"Alright, H."

I just can't live like this anymore. Spending my days thinking about Lizzie, missing her. I've got to find a way to get over her. What am I saying? You just don't get over a woman like Lizzie. I have to try though.

Then it hit me as I was flipping through the tv channels. Love Actually was on. I watched the Mark and Juliet scenes with increased interest. Then I knew what I had to do.
