It was like any other day for Natsu Dragneel

That is until his Best friend confessed her love for him at her apartment that night

Natsu was shocked he didn't know how he felt

Of course it's Natsu after all he's dense just what is love to him?

Natsu was now sulking on floor in his house not knowing what to do

Happy was fast asleep mumbling things about fish or Charla

Natsu thought back to when she confessed thirty minutes ago

"Lucy pleeeaassee let me stay the night" the childish mage whined

"No Natsu how many times do I have to tell you" the blonde mage replied back

"But why not" Natsu used his puppy eyes face

Lucy sighed "because I only want to sleep in the same bed with someone I love"

Natsu pouted "but I love you?"

Lucy blushed a million shades of red "no Natsu not that kind of love"

Natsu tilted his head confusingly "what do you mean"

"It's the love where you want to spend the rest of your life with someone the love I feel for you " she whispered the last part so low not even Natsu's sharp ears barely could pick it up

But he did Natsu slightly blushed "y-you k-know I can h-hear you r-right?" He stuttered

Lucy smiled "I know maybe telling my feelings will help you"

Natsu gulp a none lump in his throat

"I love you, Natsu" She smiled a more angelic smile this time

Natsu felt his heart beat increase

'what is this?' He thought confused on his feelings

"I-i don't k-know" Natsu had no idea how to respond to his best friend

"It's alright I already knew" Lucy's smile turned sad and tears were held in her eyes ready to escape

"Let m-me t-think about it p-please" Natsu stuttered his face heating up

B-bump B-bump B-bump

'Wh-what is this feeling?' he asked himself again

With out a second thought Natsu ran out the window  not noticing Lucy break down in tears

He doesn't get it he doesn't understand his feelings

What was that he felt?

Why did his face feel on fire?

What was wrong with his heart?

What should he say to lucy?

Natsu's head was clouded with thoughts
