Chapter #10: I'm out of my League Once Again

Wain's POV

Kakatapos lang namin magpractice. That song, naaalala ko si Lily sa kantang yun.

It's been a year mula ng mawala si Lily. Malungkot at masakit pero kailangan tanggapin.

Nandito ako ngayon sa Court sa school. Hawak Ko yung box na binigay sakin ni Lily at hindi ko pa ito binubuksan hanggang ngayon kasi baka maiyak na naman ako.

Natatakot akong malaan kung ano ang nasa loob nito.

"Anong tinitingin tingin mo?" Sabi niya sakin sabay bato ng bola. Ang lakad ah!

Bigla akong may naisip.

"Laban tayo." Kapag natalo kita hindi ko pa bubuksan yung box. Kapag natalo mo ko, bubuksan ko na.

"Maghanda ka ng matalo!" Sabi niya sabay ngiti ng napakayabang.

"Magpalit ka muna! Nakaskirt ka!" Sabi ko pero umiling siya.

"That doesn't mind. Game!" Sabi niya.

after a half hour, Ang galing. Nanalo siya. I don't know, hindi ko naman kasi siya binubunggo. She's a girl remember?

" I won. Bilhan mo ko ng Zest-o." Utos niya. Nginitian ko lang siya.

"Just wait here" sabi ko. Dinala ko yung bag ko na kahit kailan hindi ko iniwan. Nakabili na ako ng zest-o. mango na lang flavor. Malay ko ba kung ano gusto nun!

nakabalik ako sa court pero wala na siya. Saan naman kaya nagpunta yun?

Umupo muna ako at kinuha sa bag ko ang Box na blue na binigay sakin ni Lily. It's time to open.

Ang laman nito ay isang Keychain na music note at isang letter.

Napaiyak na lang ako sa sulat na yun. Kahit pala hindi siya nabangga, Mawawala rin siya sakin.
