Meant To Be

Today's the day

[Two and a half months later]

Seth was not having a good day. In fact he was not having a good week, or month for that matter. Everything hurt. His back, his feet, even his nipples and it didn't help that he felt so worn out all the damn time. He felt huge and ugly and he was starting to feel really insecure about his appearance. Sometimes he wondered why Dean was still with him he felt so hideous. Dean was home with him all the time now, which was great but Seth couldn't fully enjoy it because of how awful he felt.

''You alright babe you look upset?'' Dean asked as Seth waddled into the living room

''I'm so ready for this to be over with now'' Seth replied as he dodged Dean attempt at a kiss, laying himself down on the couch instead

Dean made his way over to his husband, lifting his legs up so that he could sit down beside him

''Do you want me to rub your feet?'' Dean asked as he placed Seth's feet in his lap

''No'' Seth replied sharply, moving his feet away from Dean's hands

"Want me to rub your stomach?" Dean suggested "It helped you relax before"

"No" Seth replied sharply

''Ok what's wrong?'' Dean asked 

''I just feel so ugly'' Seth admitted ''I don't even know how you can bare to look at me right now. I'm a freaking beached whale''

''Babe'' Dean said as he placed a finger underneath Seth chin ''Do you realize how amazing you are right now?You're growing another person inside of you, giving someone else life and that's amazing. Not to mention that you're a man doing all of this. That's double amazing!!''

Seth let out a sigh 

"When you first told me about you being able to carry a baby I was so in awe of you" Dean admitted "You're one of a kind and so fucking awesome, i can't believe I've been able to lock you down for life" 

''You are such a idiot'' Seth said as he tried and failed not to smile 

''What you're doing right now is the most selfless thing anyone could do for someone" Dean continued "You're giving me a child and I fucking love you so much for that. I've always loved you and I'll never not love you, especially because of the way you look. You've always been gorgeous to me and you always will be. In fact i think your even more sexy now you're pregnant''

Seth sighed as Deans fingers slowly made there way underneath his shirt, his fingertips gliding across his swollen stomach

"And I just know that our baby is going to be perfect because they're have half of your genes''

Seth's eyelids grew heavy at the sensation of Dean's cold hands on his warm swollen stomach and he pulled Dean closer to him as he leant forward to kiss him.

Before things could escalate Seth pushed against Dean's chest "Stop for a second"

"Why what's wrong?" Dean asked as he pulled away

"I need to pee" Seth dragged himself off the couch and waddled towards the bathroom

Seth was awoken from his sleep by a sharp jolt of pain shooting through his stomach. He sat up and panicked when he saw that Dean was no where to be seen. He was home for a few days, making sure to take some time off for Seth's due date and between them they had even arranged for their next door neighbor Ann, to take care of Kevin for a while, but right now Seth was beginning to panic, the pain was getting worse by the minute and Seth scrambled out of bed and grabbed his phone from his bag, quickly finding Dean's contact.
