Chapter 10

Minutes seemed like hours, waiting there... Waiting for him to burst through that door with everything. After about, I think, 20 minutes Jared came through the door.
"What took you so long!" I grab the bag with the pregnancy tests.
"All this food took long okay! I'm sorry." He tries to lean in for a kiss but I dart to the bathroom.

I do my ish and I am praying it comes out negative. I love kids but I am not ready right now. And I can't bare to have an abortion. I close my eyes for a second... I then look at the test...
Positive...
I walk out of the room. Jared immediately knew from the way I walked out, what the answer was. His arms quickly wrapped around my body.
"Jared what are we going to do..." I whimper.
"It's up to you Dani. You can give it up for adoption, abortion-"
I jolt away,"No I can't do an abortion! I can't handle taking an innocent life."
"Shhh..." He cradles me,"We won't do that then... It's okay." I just take a deep breath. We walk over to his room and just lay there in silence- in thought.
"Dani..." He whispers.
"Yeah..." I respond. To be honest, I was in pure shock. I can't believe I'm pregnant. I'm 18, I just started college and now I'm pregnant...
"I'll be there for you no matter what, even if you want to keep it I'll be here." He tucks a piece of my hair behind my ear.
"Jared-"
"No Daniella listen to me. You are carrying our child, I will take full responsibility with you I won't go anywhere. I'll finish college, then we have the child, then you can go back to school," before he would let me speak he said,"Daniella I promise."
It's like he read my mind. I was actually considering on keeping the child. A child deserves to grow up with their mother and father. If this is a test to keep it together and be responsible I'm prepared. Bring it on life.
"Okay..."
"Okay?!" He jolts up excited.
"I'll keep the baby..." I sigh.
"We're having a baby!" He swigs me around in his arms. I saw the smile on his face. I know he'll be a great father. I can't say the same about me... This also means Javier can ether suck this up like I have to with him or he can leave.
"Dani, well tell him together." He gets ahold of my hand and kisses my cheek.
"Today?" I bite my lip out of being nervous.
"We have to Dani..." He pauses,"I know you don't want to but he can't talk if he got someone else pregnant ether."
I sat there for a second, gnawing on my lip. I took a deep breath and sighed,"Okay." Let me get my cloths on."
"Okay." He lets go of my hand and walks to the living room. I walk into the bathroom, I was shaky. We were really going to do this. I washed my face, to try to make myself more appealing. But I knew there was no possible way of that happening, but it was worth a try. I walk into the living room, I dreaded walking ever step. "You ready?" Jared sounded nervous.
"Mhm." I slip on my shoes and mope all the way to the car. I slump down, and Jared starts to drive as I watch the scenery pass me by. I guess Jared saw I was nervous as he intertwined his hand with mine.
"We'll be okay." He kisses the back of my hand. I blushed... But why did I blush... Something about him made me feel safe.

Soon enough we were at my place. I open the door to find Cassie still there BUT not only that she was making breakfast in my kitchen! MATTER OF FACT IN ONE MY JAVIER'S T-SHIRTS.
"Hey I'm so glad you could join us Daniella." She smirks.
I gritted my teeth,"What the hell are you doing in my house Cassie." I swear steam was coming out of my ears.
"I had a great time with him actually, thanks for leaving us alone, he was going on about how he'll never leave me and he loves me." She was enjoying this. I could tell. "And who's your little friend? Your body guard?" Cassie snickered. Soon enough Javier came strolling down the hall like this was normal.
"Shit Daniella... Listen to me-" he started taking steps toward me but I grabbed ahold of Jared's hand and stomped into the living room.
I cut him off,"No you listen to me Javier." I had so much anger in my voice. He listened and closed his mouth. "She is pregnant with your child, and if you can handle that child that's fine, but don't you DARE have sex with her in MY house! HOW DARE YOU! You get her pregnant, and stay in MY HOUSE! That is not okay!" Javier stayed quiet. Because he knew I was correct. And I've never gotten this mad with him. I took a breath and ran my fingers though my hair pacing. The whole house was silent. Even Cassie was in a bit of shock. "I'm pregnant Javier..." Cassie gasps and Javier's eyes dart from the ground to me. Jared got a little tense and I gave him a look to reassure him to be okay.
"But Daniella we didn't..." His voice lowers with every word escaping his mouth.
"It's not yours Javi..." We stood there in silence.
"How could you do this to me!" He yelled at me, his face scrunched with anger. I flinched at him yelling at me, Jared immediately stood by my side. "I loved you Daniella and you choose to hurt me!"
"Seriously!!" I laughed hysterically,"You JUST got a girl pregnant. If you can't stick with me like how I stuck with you then leave..." I sneered.
"Is that guy the father." I swear Javier was never so mad.
"Javier listen to me-" before I could continue he punched Jared in the jaw.
"Fuck you Javier! Did I punch your girlfriend in the face- the girl you love? NO! Go fuck yourself." I was hurt, why was I supposed to listen to him when he couldn't respect me. I saw Cassie leave the house into the car. Good she's leaving. Soon enough I hear the words I never wanted to hear come out of Javier's mouth.
