Chapter 5

"Dani, this is Courtney, Courtney this is Dani and her boyfriend Javier." He introduces.
"Ross told me all about you, you do for the picture," She gives a sweet smile.
"Aw thank you! I feel like we'll be good friends!" I sat down at the other side of the booth tugging Javi's hand.
We spent the day talking, and eating.
"So how long have you guys known each other?" I munch down on food.
"For over 6 months I believe." Courtney answers.
"Wait what? Ross and you didn't tell me about her!" I glare at him. "Dani babe! I sorry!" He pouts.
"I dislike you." I whip my hair.
Courtney gives a nervous laugh.
"I know when I heard that nickname too, I felt that way." Javier finally spoke coming out of his shell.
"Yeah we've been best friends for forever and it stuck it doesn't mean anything," I turn to Javier while speaking the last sentence,"I love you." I squish his face giggling.
We pay the check and exit IHOP. "How long have you two been together?" She questions.
"Almost two years," I smile,"Well me and Javier have to go, I'll talk to you later!" I smile entering my car.

"She was nice!" I tell Javi.
"I guess." He shrugs.
"I'm all yours the rest of the day, what do you want to do sunshine?" I pinch his cheek.
"Well what do you want to do." He responds.
"It's still pretty hot, lets go to the beach and all that fun stuff!" I exclaim.
"Okay beautiful, let's just get our stuff and we'll go straight there." He gives me a cheeky smile.
We quickly go inside packing everything we need, as we drive off I felt like I was forgetting something.
"Oh crap my wallet! I forgot it at the house! Can we go back!" I pout.
"Nope, it's not like you were going to pay anyway so, okay babe." Turning up the radio, his way of saying end of conversation.
I roll my eyes,"jerk..." I mumble.

We reached the beach and started to play in the water. He went deeper in, unlike me since I'm to short I sorta freak out if my toes can't reach the bottom.
"Climb on me, come on." He pulls me onto him. But right there a wave crashes on us. As I tumble out and finally catch my breath for air, I cough.
"Never again..." I sigh,"Only up to reach alright?"
"Okay babe, come on." He tugs my hand. He pulls me closer to him and we swayed in the water.
"You're so beautiful," He tugs my hair,"I love you."
"I love you too." I smile, as he leans closer, pressing his salty lips on mine.

We stayed until sunset, which no one else seemed to like doing.
"So what are we doing for our anniversary." I ask.
"Nothing that you won't like." He chuckles kissing my cheek.
"I'm hungry," My stomach gurgles.
"Let's go eat and then home?" Javier lifts me and himself up.
"Home!" I kiss him,"Food!"

I spent a great night, the next day was even better. At least for the most part.
