3 scratch marks.

3 scratch marks upon the left cheek.

That is Lucan's signature. I've known it forever, and now, 3 scratch marks upon Thaddeus' left cheek left him dead. My Thaddeus is dead. He's missing chunks of skin, but the 3 scratch marks upon his left cheek is what has put me into denial.

I have people sniffing out Lucan. I have to know where he's been living, and I know he has a pack. I have to find out how many members he has. Yet we have to be careful with this, if Lucan catches any of our scents, he won't hesitate to kill them he see's or even come to us and kill them.

I have just realized, I'm running a pack of 238 on my own. This is crazy. It's such a responsibility. I can't believe I've been running it on my own and it's actually still going, at a better pace than Lucan was taking it.

Now, as my pack prepares for war.. I will say, we will show no mercy. You kill ours, we kill you.

Rest in peace, Thaddeus.
