jungkook couldn't believe his eyes.

stood before him at his very own front door was the largest bouquet of flowers he'd ever seen, many different hues of his favourite colour, light blue, dark blue, navy blue, everything.

the tears started to form and he had to look away for a moment to collect himself. it had been many years since he had received a birthday present and his heart physically hurt because of how much love he felt towards jimin at that moment in time.

perched at the front of the flowers was a tiny blue card, jungkook took it into his trembling hands and only then did he realise he was crying. happy tears, he was so overwhelmed by his jimin's kindness and thoughtfulness that he could hardly believe how lucky he was to have such a credit of a human being in his life.

"god I love you jiminie" he whispered, so inaudible that even jungkook had to strain to hear himself but, nonetheless, it was still there and it was still very true.

he managed to open the tiny card, looking at the handwritten message inside:

baby, I hope you like these flowers, I picked them myself and I know you like blue, remember that time when we played those questions and I found out your favourite colour, song, flower, everything. you are an amazing human baby, I hope you realise that and I hope this somehow makes up for the awful birthdays you've had so far, because from now on I want you to enjoy every moment and credit every day, because you deserve to be happy, lots of love, jiminie x

more and more tears started to flow down jungkook's cheeks, he was so happy for the first time in his life, jimin made him happy.

he quickly took his phone from his back pocket, unlocking it and already being on his and jimin's chat, typing out a message to him.

jjungkook: park jimin this is the most amazing thing anyone has ever got me or done for me you are a credit to my life

jjungkook: I wish you were here so I could tell you how much I love it and so I could hug you over and over again
