Elemental heroes

Chapter 1

Alison's POV

"I finished my training for today, sir. Can I go home, now?" I asked to my teacher, Mr. Alistair Cleave.
"Yes, you may." He said. "But remember, to focus on learning the flight spell!"
"I will!" I said from the distance.

Alison Soleil. That is my name. A chosen girl, given the power of the fire element. People often describe me as a sociable and an organized person. I'm still a student in New York City Senior High School.

My sidekick's name is Flair. She is the one who gave me the power of fire. My teacher was once chosen to be an iron elementalist. Flair explained that every generation has it's own person that is chosen. Then, I started thinking, that I could be like a superhero. Saving the day. I thought I was the only elementalist in this world. It all changed until the next day.

(The next day)

"Woah. That cat was sooooo heavy! Why should it even climb a tree?" I said.
"Alison! You finally came!" Mr. Cleave said. "I have some bad news."
"What is it?" I asked.

(Two minutes later)

"So... An evil, probably male, thing named Cosmo, wants to rule the earth. Sounds weird." I said.
"Believe me. It's true!" He said.
"So? What does that have to do with me?" I asked.
"You have an elemental power. You can defeat him!"
"How about you?" I asked.
"I will help, of course! But you will need more help." He said.
"How am I gonna find help? You said that I'm the chosen one!"
"But I never said that you're the only one." He said.
"Okay? So, where am I gonna find "help"?"
"Japan." He said. "You're going to Japan."

"Why should I go there?" I asked. "Is there another elementalist there?"
"Yes." He said. "Stephanie Grace. A senior high school student, and a water elementalist. You can find her in Japan."

So, I'm literally going to Japan. Yay!
