It's been a month since I got married an entire month. Christian came back a week ago but I still haven't talked to him. The wives left a day before Christian came back to some spa retreat with their kids apparently they are coming back today. Fuck no. I get up and do my morning routine. After that I go downstairs and find the guys sitting in the lounge watching TV. After the fight I gained a lot of respect from the guys. I got to know them better and I became friends with a small group. There's Evan who is in charge of security, James, who is one of the best fighters, Tyrone, who is a computer geek and Matt, who is in charge of the weapons. I pass the lounge and they all see me
"Hy Kat" they say at the same time.
"Hy guys. Day off? "
"Yeah" Evan answers
"Want to do something? " James asks
"Sure anything. Set it up I'm going to get breakfast. Where's Nick? "
"In the kitchen " Tyrone says
"Okay. Is Christian gone? "
"Yes"Matt answers. I leave the lounge and go to the kitchen. I find Nick having breakfast. He doesn't hear me walk in so I take a plate and stand behind him. I quickly grab two slices of beacon and pancakes from his plate and put it on mine.
"Hy that's mine!"
"No it isn't with that attitude " I scold him
"Morning Kat" he sighs
"Finally a proper greeting. Well good morning to you too"
"Now give me back my breakfast "
"No" I look at his plate and find it empty. I guess I took all of it
"There's no breakfast left. " he whines
"Hhm. And how does any of that concern me"
"You just took my food!"
"Again none of my concern. Go make some toast or something" I sho him away. He mumbles something about me being a bitch and how easily he could kill me
Don't we have a wonderful relationship. Nick and I have become very close. We finish our breakfast and go to the lounge. Christian allows his men to sit around the house during they days off. And has a huge place for them a few minutes from the house. The guys just like to laze around here. We arrive at the lounge and I see the Xbox is on the table.
"I don't know why we keep playing this because I always beat you fuckers " I say as I take a seat between the guys
"You won't be so lucky this time" Nick says as he sits down
"Hy Kat? " Tyrone says
"Yuh"
"Why do you always have your hair up?"
"Huh. I don't know maybe you will see it down soon" Since I came into the house I have never let my hair down. I guess I just never wanted to.
"Lets play you suckers" Evan says as he starts the game.

A few crushed egos later

"Huh I beat all you fuckers again!" I shout as I jump up. I have won all the games and the guys didn't even come close to beating me.
"No fair you cheated " James cries
"How can a woman beat me in video games?" Matt whines. I start doing a happy dance while laughing. I think I'm a bit crazy. The guys start complaining then they just stop. I'm still dancing when I hear an 'Ahm' from one of the guys, James points to the door and I turn around to find Christian, the wives and kids.
"Whats going on here? " he asks anger laced in his voice
"Uh we were playing video games" Nick answers
"And the reason for this one's idiotic behavior?" he points to me
"She beat us in all the games"
"All of you" he says to the guys " go back to your house. " the guys say silent goodbyes and leave. He turns to me
"You are my wife stop acting barbaric. You are not a fucking teenager that will lazy around. Do something productive for Pete's fuckin sake go shopping. You want my money after all" he says.
"I'll be out of your way" I say softly
"Come let's go" Nick says softly as he puts his hand on my back and we walk to the kitchen. We sits down and I still feel sad
"He didn't mean it" Nick reassures me

"He didn't "
"Why does he hate me? "
"He doesn't it's just that he has a lot of stress"
"And that gives him the right to take it out on me?"
"No"
"Whats up with him?"
"I'll tell you one thing he always wanted He has always wanted a son. The wives have never been able to give him a son only daughters. Maybe you might be able to bear him a son"
"There is noway he is touching me" Nick laughs
"Whatever you say"
"But seriously Nick why does he hate me?"
"He doesn't hate you. Maybe one day all of this will get better " he says and doesn't notice Christian walking in. I look at Christian dead in the eyes and reply
"And maybe one day I won't be here " I stand up and walk out. I go to my room and take my earphones and listen to music for a while. I'm interrupted by a phone call from Mari.
"Hello Mari"
"Hello dear. How are you doing? "
"Good you? " I stand up and make my way to the kitchen for a snack
"In holding up. "
"Are you sure? "
"Pretty sure I might even not die in a month "
"Mari that's not something to joke about " I scold her
"How are things in the house? " I am about to answer when I reach the kitchen to find a very angry Christian. He snatches my phone and puts it on the counter with Mari still on the line
"Why did you insult Sophia and Ellie you bitch. I dont even know why my mom loves you. You are nothing but a pathetic gold digging bitch. I will not have you come into my house and do as you please. You are nothing here. Hear me! Nothing! Don't you ever insult them okay. Because on that day I won't give a damn about mom's wish and kick you out. Okay?" he finishes his speech. I guess the wives told him about our little encounter. I give him a blank look.
"Are you done? " I ask coldly
"What! You will respect me or I will teach you some respect you pathetic bitch "
"Christen, your mom is on the line" I say like it nothing. I take my phone and leave shocked Christian
"You heard all of that? " I ask Mari
"Everything. Come to the hospital"
"Okay" I go to my room and change. Then I realise that I don't have transport. I call James and ask him to take me. He agrees and tells me to meet him at the gate. I jog down the stairs and I see Christian standing by them
"Where are you going? " he asks
"To see your mom"
"She heard everything?"
"Every single word. Bye" I leave the house and find James by the gate
"Where are we going? "
"The hospital"
"Who are we going to visit? "
"Not you just me. I just need the ride "
He starts the car and I hear him mumble something about feeling used. He's such a drama queen. We arrive at the hospital and James decides to stay in the car. I go Mari's room and find he'd looking better
"Hy Mari"
"Hi dear"
"I just have one question. Why didn't you tell me about the wives"
"Wasn't my place" she simply says
"So why did you want me here? "
"Oh. Remember when I told you to obey Christian and never question him"
"Yeah"
"And how is that going? "
"Horrible you heard all those things he said?"
"I told you that because I wanted to show you how horrible a submissive relationship is. A relationship where you agree to everything he says is a terrible relationship. I wanted you to experience it so you know what it is like. I don't want you in that type of marriage. I want you to be strong and bold respect him but make sure he earns that respect. And for what he said to you. Be a handful wife until you feel like it's enough "
"Okay. I really feel sorry for Christian I'm going all out"
"Oh no I have created a monster. Please don't kill him"
"I can't make any promises "
We chat for a while then I go home. Have dinner then go to sleep with one thought
