You were beaming as the sound of hands and cheers erupted from all around us

Our friends cheered, for the newly engaged and soon to be married couple
You laughed and smiled and our friends all walked out, all giddy, your girlfriends ripped you from my sight to go dress shopping
My arm was left empty but us men, we went for suit shopping
I found a great suit to wear to the wedding
As you walked down the aisle with your arm linked with your aging father
Tears ran down my face as you stepped up to the podium
You looked beautiful, with your (H/L), (H/C) hair tied up in a bun (if you don't have long hair, pretend). You were wearing a pure white dress as you clutched the bouquet of roses close to yourself
As the priest asked you the vows for making the marriage legal, you gave me a nervous smile
I nodded and smiled with assurance that everything will be okay
But on the inside, I was dying and being engulfed in a dark cloud of anxiety
The same chorus of cheers and applauses exploded from the audience
All around were our families and friends, some crying with tears of joy
You got into the limo with the just married sign flapping in the wind behind you
But I sat there, blank expression, my heart was in pieces before me
It wasn't me who got into the limo with you, I wasn't the one standing up there on the podium with you and listening to the priest asking the vows, I wasn't the one who kneeled before you with the ring
The way you leave hurt me when I realize all those memories of loving you was meaningless in the end of it all
