Forty One // Arriving In L.A

Start from the beginning

It was insanely boring and I left within the first twenty minutes. I used to enjoy going out and having fun. I was always a people person and it was just a fun thing to do. But now it is so stupid to me. I'm so sick of meeting girls that throw themselves at my feet just because I'm Niall Horan. I'm so sick of it, I hate it. I want something so much more than this. I don't care for this life anymore.

A groan left my lips as the alarm began again as the snooze started. This time around I read the alarm name and saw that it was set up for the episode of the X Factor. It was then that I realized that I was planning on watching the show. I was interested in the girl group and I wanted to see how it would play out. As far as my research - or depending on you ask, stalking - they have not made it through to the live shows. Tonight was the last episode of boot camp and it would tell if she gets through or not.

I climbed out of my bed and threw on a pair of sweatpants before heading out of my room. I was still living with Zayn though I really wanted to move out. I had finally found a flat down the road a little but it was going to take a bit to close the deal. Zayn doesn't want me to move out and is trying to keep me from doing it, but I need my own space.

By the time that I was sitting down and had turned the TV on, the show was playing. Images of what this episode was going to be about started to flash around until it started to show one of the acts. A four piece that consisted of boys. I didn't know who they were, but the one with the long hair was in quite a few of Liz's pictures online.

It took damn near forever until I saw Liz on screen. It started showing the things that they have been doing for the past week at the judges homes and I've got to admit, the three girls were the most talented on the show that I've seen so far. There was something about their voices that all mixed together in a great way. Out of the three girls, I can admit that I like the blonde one the best. There was just something about Liz that seemed to spark my interest. I don't know if it was her voice, which was so pretty. She seemed ten times more talented than I was.

She was also really pretty. She had that simplicity aura around her that just drew me in. She had chubby little cheeks and big blue eyes. Her blonde hair seemed to always be a mess of waves but they just made her so much cuter. I've never heard her talk or anything like that, but I've read her texts and she is really nice. She replies to tweets and posts so much stuff about One Direction. It's obvious that she's a fan and it's even more obvious that she likes me the best. That part was amazing, because it made me feel so much better about myself. If someone like her liked me, than why couldn't I like myself?

The scene changed to Simon, who was sitting at an outdoor patio with Cher Lloyd. I smiled, seeing an old friend. I haven't talked to her in forever, I wonder how she's being. I should text her or something to see how she's doing. The girls came onto the screen, all holding hands. I thought that that was sweet, them holding hands like that.

"Alright, now I know you are all nervous." Simon began. "You girls have come a long way in this competition. When you were first put together I do believe that there were some issues between you three, but not that everything is settled out it's easy to see the chemistry between the three of you. I'm glad that I decided on putting you three together."

"I'm not going to lie, it's been a while since I've had a group as talented as you three. You've all improved so much, and not only as a group. Individually you three have really found yourselves and for that, I admire. I really do love your spirit as a group and it's easy to see how your energy rubs off on everyone here. You haven't let anything get you down so far and it's easy to see that you won't. You three look out for each other and it's obvious." Simon said.

The TV showed the three girls and my eyes immediately moved towards Liz. Her bottom lip was tucked underneath her teeth and I found it very attractive on her. It was easy to tell how nervous she was, how nervous they all were. The silence between everyone was so full of tension that even I felt it.

"I am putting you through." Simon finally said after a minute.

The scene once against shot to the girls and I watched as the three slowly realized that they were moving on to the live shows. They all shared a hug, Caitlin and Liz were both crying, before they ran over to Simon and hug him as well.

"Thank you so much." Liz said with the biggest smile on her face. She looked so happy and I found myself wishing that I was a part of that.

Simon had a smile to match, "No thank you. I think you girls are going to go far."

There's the chapter. I hope you liked it. I know it's a little short, and sorry for that, but the girls are at the live shows and Niall's obsession is starting to grow!
