My Only Exception

Chapter 18

Angela's POV

Louis and Katie are now coming over here. I know that my mom said that "Things had been happening lately, that wouldnt have happend before" Which basically means Louis shouldnt be coming over so often on late nights, or when her and my dad arent around. I brush it off as just a small thing, its not like im doing anything that would get me into serious trouble, like other teens. Im just inviting my best freind and my boyfreind over,nothing wrong with that. 

I decide to go to the kitchen and get some chips and dip for snacks when they get here. I know that Katie lives farther than Louis but what is taking so long for her to get here. 

**Hey, your still coming right????**

**Yea, Something else happend, I got distracted but im on my way now, I should be there in like 15 minuts**

**Oh okay, what happend?**

**Nothing big, and theres alot of traffic so that is also a delay**

**Okay, well I'll see you soon then**

I see Louis' car pull into the driveway. I walk over to the door and open it, standing on the door frame. 

"Hey baby" He says planting a kiss on my nose

"Hey" I say and I know im smiling from ear to ear. No one has ever made me as happy as Louis. Just seeing him brings me happiness. 

"Katie not here yet?" He asks in a surprised tone

"No, she has to go through alot of traffic and she had to do something before she got here" I say as we both sit down on the couch

I take a chip and eat it as Louis moves closer to me wrapping one arm around my waist. 

"Where are your parents?" 

"Working late, They went back to their old shifts" I say and Louis turns towards me, leaving his focus from the T.V

"Are you upset, You know because they wont be around as much" 

"I dont know, I mean, Its what normally happens, I know that they work the way they work to be able to pay for my college funds, and school, The house, and bills, also savings plus My car still isnt paid off, I just got it about 11 months ago, It's not their fault, They arent working without a purpose"

"Yea, I know what you mean. On the bright side, I can come over more often" Louis says with a grin before resting his head on my shoulder. 

Would he be coming over more often? I dont want to disobey my parents but the thought of having Louis over more often dosent seem too bad. 

I here a jiggle on the front door, which interupts my thoughts. I get up to answer it. Its Katie of course. 

"Hello!!" She says louder than needed "Oh, Hey Louis"

"Hey" He replies not taking the slightest glance from the T.V

Katie comes in and takes her bag upstairs before returning and sitting down on the smaller couch next to the one Louis and I were on. I moved to the end of my couch and began talking to Katie about what we were goign to do tonight, since Louis was so wrapped up in what was on the T.V.

"So Which party do you want to go to? The kid that through that party last week is having another one, and Hannah and Im pretty sure there is more" Katie says and I can see that she is getting all excited just talking about it. 

I am not one to party, but Katie just loves it. We are just finishing out junir years and Katie has probably been to more parties than a college freshman. It fits her personality, actually. She is diffrent, sort of Loud and she is always pumped and ready to do something exciting. She dosent get into disagreements with people at school, and Even if she does have a small conflict with someone, It passes over because everyone likes her. She is a genuin person and by now everyone knows that, that is who she is and how she has always acted.
