My Only Exception

Chapter 11

The next morning, we all got up around the same time. It was around 11:00 and Louis was already sitting on the small bean bag couch in the corner of the room. Katie sat up and looked at Louis with a werid face. 

"What the hell are you doing over there? You look like a creep, and why is your hair wet?"  Katie says as I look over to notice that Louis' hair is wet. 

"I took a shower already. I didnt want to get the bed wet." Louis says 

I get from the end of the bed and grab some clothes from my closet, and make my way to the bathroom. 

Louis' POV 

After Ange got into the shower, Katie and I just sat and talked about what A crazy night it had been. I myself still couldnt beleive that we had almost  been arrested, let alone the fact that we basically ran from the cops. I couldnt beleive that Ange was the first to run, I figured she would be more catious and a little scared. I hear foot steps coming uup the stairs and what sounds like Angela's mom's voice. Katie and I quickly looked at each other in panic. She motioned for me to hide in the closet. I shook my head, I was not going to hide in the closet. Angela's bed was not high enough off of the ground for me to get under. Without thinking I ran behind the room door. Katie ran over and grabbed my arm dragging me from the door and pushing me inside the bathroom with Angela. Before I could even think about what was going on Angela's head was peeking out of the shower and she started screaming before I covered my eyes before putting my finger to mouth gesturing for her to shut up. I heard someone knock on the room door and Katie say something. Angela must have heard the knock too, panic grew in her eyes. We both got as quiet as we could, so that you could only here the shower water running. 

"I didnt know you slept over honey." I hear Angela's mom say 

"Yea, it was late when we got back. " Katie says casually

"Im sure it was, You know , I really dont like you girls being out so late" I hear Ange's mom say

"I know. We dont mean to stay out that late, we just lose track of time." 

"Well, since Angela is in the shower, I wanted to ask you, do you know about Louis?" 

Ange and I looked at each other. I didnt know that Ange had told her parents about me, about us. From what I see, she isnt very close with them.  

"Yes, we all hang out together." Katie says casually but I cant imagine the look on her face

"Oh, So you know that they are together now, I suppose." Me and ange are now sitting in silence just staring at each other. I look at the window, and all I want to do is jump out. 

"Its to high" Ange whispers as, she was probably thinking the same thing. Ange still has her head poked out of the curtain, so I reach over and hand her a towel. She takes the towel and wraps it around her, she leaves the water on so her mom dosent question anything but she steps out of the shower and stands next to me at the door. 

"Yea" I hear katie say, in response to Angela's mom's question

"She told me, and Im still surprised. How is he? Is a gentlemen? Does he treat her right? Well I guess he must be a good person if Ange is willing to give him a chance." 

I smirk and look at Ange, she is already looking at me. I lean down and plant a small kiss on her cheek. She quickly turns her head, causing out lips to meet. 

"I... he is very sweet. He always does nice things for her and tells her how beautiful she is."  We hear Katie say, as we both pull away

"Well, that is very good. You know, I just dont want her to be with someone who wont appreciate her, and understand her" 

"Well he does, very much" 

"Okay, well I bette rget to going before Angela comes out, Would you girls like some breakfest?" 

"No thank you. If you dont mind, I wanna take Ange to the mall and we can just grab lunch there" 

"Thats fine sweet heart" I hear before the door closes.

I breath out, and open the bathroom door slowly. When I see that she is gone I walk completely out. 

"You two have fun in there?" Katie says with a smirk. 

"Shut up" I say sitting on the bed.  waiting for Ange to come out, so she can stall while I sneak out. 

Suddenly I hear two short knocks on the door before it is opened.

"Oh, and what time do you girls thi-" Ange's mom stops in the middle of her sentence And is standing at the door with a very confused look on her face. 

"Oh." Is the only thing we can both get out.
