My Only Exception

Chapter 2

When I got home, like always, no one greeted me or said anything to me. My parents were upstairs sleeping most likely and didnt even notice that I was gone. I have always been distant from my parents, they are never home to begin with. My parents work with a major company called Hallertz that makes Kitchen appliances. My parents help manage the company while also helping make the parts too. To most teenagers This would be the ideal life. Having a nice house to yourself all the time, you could invite over whoever the hell you wanted and your parnts would never know beecause they are never home. Well for me, its not. I have never had many freinds and since 6th grade, when i found out i had depression, I have only had one freind; katie. Katie and I have known each other since third grade and our parents work together so she is about the only person that really comes over. 

The next morning I was outside on my porch when i saw Louis again. He was walking down my street with a huge grin on his face, Speed walking towards my yard. "please dont let him have seen me" i whisper to my self as i try to hurry and get inside the door. 

"Hey, ange, Hows it goin?"

"Fine, i guess..." 

"well wanna hang out?" he says with a grin

"ummm. sure" I say opening the door for us to go in.

"oh, you want me to come in?

"well yea. i dont feel like going out, soo"

"okay!"

we went upstarirs to my room and started watching tv. good thing we didnt go out because it started raining as soon as we got in. I was actually having alot of fun with Louis, and he wsnt being a pest like thought he would be. We found out we like the same shows and bands and we actually have alot in commen.

"So do you have a boyfreind? " Louis asks, not looking at me directly

"Nope, Not since the 6th grade" I say crawling to the floor, to be seated next to him. I hope he didnt think me sitting next to him meant that I "Wanted" him or something. I just didnt want to be on the bed by myself

"oh. wow. your 16, and you are georgeous. like honestly one of the most beautiful girls i have ever seen, why havent you had a boyfreind" 

"I dont know, never really needed one. Plus i think im to boring to have a boyfreind. I mean, i spend all day in my house reading and writing."

"I dont think your boring. I had alot of fun today." 

"Well thanks, and just to let you know, your really funny, and i had a great time today too." I say sorta blushing 

Me and Louis finished watching one last movie and he left around 7 

"next time we can have a sleepover, he yelled while leaving the yard.
