My Only Exception

Chapter 4

Angela's POV

The next morning I woke up and realized I was in the bed myself. Did Louis seriously leave me? I stood up and made my way to the dresser across the room. I saw the Louis'  jacket was gone, so he must have left. I showered up and got dressed. When i got back to my room I noticed that I had got a text message from Louis.

** Sorry for leaving this morning without telling you. I woke up and it was about 10:30 so I figured I should start heading home. I didnt want to wake you up because you looked so tired.... And about last night, I dont really know why I did that, It just felt like the right thing to do... I dont know, I just feel like we should talk about it... I mean thats if you want to, Its up to you.**

I turned my phone screen off and threw my phone on the bed, behind me. I really like Louis and I thouught last night I was sorta letting him know that. Mabey my "Flirty-ness" wasnt as obvious as I thought it was. I felt the bed vibrate a little, I picked my phone up and saw it was a text from Katie.

**Summer party tonight at Megans, You should come! Its going to be real fun**

Megan is a girl who was in most of my classes since freshman year, and despite the way everyone else acted towards me, she was pretty nice. I just never got to know her really well. She is a very sweet girl, smart too, But when it comes to throwing a party, she is the best. You wouldnt think it because she is quiet and talks to few people.

**Okay what time? How many people do you think will be there?**

**It starts at 9:30 and I dont know, most of the school...**

**okay. come by my house so we can get ready and stuff **

**K be there at like 7**

At about 6:40 I heard a knock on the door. I figured Katie was here a little early. I opened the door only to find that it was Louis.

"Hey." I said, a bit confused on what he was doing here.

"hey, Katie texted me and said we should all meet up over here before we go to the party."

"Oh. yea, I just didnt know you were going."

"oh. , so are you wearing that?"

"No!! I was just about to start getting ready"

"well you dont look bad or anything, I was just asking"

I walked upstars to my room, and Louis followed behind me. I grabbed a couple dresses and skirt out of the closet, to choose from. I heard the front door open, and I soon saw Katie enter my room.

"Hey guys." she said tossing her bag onto the bed.

"Which one?" I said pointing to the dresses and skirts along the foot of my bed.

"That one!" Both Louis and Katie said pointing at the purple dress in the corner of the bed.

"okay. thanks guys" I said walking towards the bethroom to shower up

Louis' POV

While Ange took a shower me and Katie discussed what had happend the night before

"Well, dont you think she has a thing for you?" She said in a voice that told me it was pretty obvious

"I dont know. mabey"

"She wouldnt have cuddled with you or not said anything about you kissing her , if she didnt like you"

" I didnt kiss her"

"It may not have been on the lips but that area, is an area that can cause things to lead to other things... if you get my drift" Katie said winking and nudging me

Katie went and took a shower in the guest bathroom, leaving me to watch tv by myself. A few minuts later Ange came out.She looked stunning.

"You look, really nice... I-I mean not just nice you look beautiful and just... wow" I said studdering like an idiot.

" HaHa wow. well thank you!" Ange said hugging me.

Angela's POV

Soon Katie came into the room and the three of us headed out. When we got to the party, there was already a ton of people parked all down the street and in the yard. you could see the large groups of people inside too, through the massive windows, in the front of the house. The three of us danced together for about 15 minuts before Katie left to go talk to some of her other freinds. Louis and I went to the kitchen and got some drinks then walked outside, to the back, where there was a few people sitting in the grass and sitting under the tree. For a few minuts we talked about how good the party was and other random things, Then I noticed Louis was looking out into the distance like something really important was really on his mind.

"What is it?" I say snapping Louis out of his focus

"What?"

"I dont know, the way you are looking, like you have somethi-"

Before I could finish my sentence I was interupted by Louis

"I like you Ange! " Looking right into my eyes.

I Looked at Louis, then at the ground. I dint know what to say.. I knew that I liked Louis but I just was in shock that he had told me he liked me.

"Please say something" Louis said grabbing my hand

I leaned it so our faces were only a few inches apart. I gently moved my hand up to his face to the back of his neck. Slowly I moved closer as I felt Louis' hand moving to my back. Within seconds I felt Louis' soft lips entwined with mine. I soflty broke away from the kiss, and looked up at Louis. 

"So I am, going with the assumption that you like me too" Louis said giggling
