If you didn't read the description let me fill you in: Gray and Gajeel broke an expensive painting owned by Natsu Dragneel, son of business man Igneel Dragneel. Natsu then ordered Gray and Gajeel to go replace the painting with a new one. He forced his assistant Happy, to go along with to make sure the two of them didn't end up in jail. After many auctions trying to find a replacement, Happy finds a flyer for another auction and decides to give it a go before the dead line. -Then it starts the story-

~Happy POV~

I lean up against the wall waiting for someone to walk out on the stage before my eyes. The 2 idiotic kids standing beside me were holding a hand full of each others hair. I tried my best to act like I didn't know them by slowly moving away from dumb and dumber. They snarled at each other and pulled their fists back. I still don't understand why Mr. Dragneel ordered me to come with these numbskulls.

"I'm gonna kick your ass stripper boy!" Gajeel screamed. I swear that they are worse than 10 crying babies. I just wanna get my day off and go home for once.

"Can you just admit that it was your fault bolt face?!" Gray screeched back. I rolled my eyes. Everyone in the room was staring us up and down. Now my turn to yell.

"Can you 2 shut your damn mouths for 5 minutes?!" I begin to let my bubbled up anger explode. "One more time and I'll tell Mr. Dragneel that we weren't able to get a painting due to you 2 loud mouths!"

I earned stares from around the room including Gray and Gajeel. They let go of each other and stood straight, shoulder to shoulder.

"Sorry Happy..." They said in sync. I looked at them at the corner of my eye to make sure they listened. Snickers and low whispers filled the air. I closed my eyes and let out a sigh.

"Mr. Dragneel?! I would have thought that his minions would have more manners!" A womanly voice whispered.

"If it's true those guys are Mr. Dragneel's minions we might as well leave! Have you heard how much he makes?! It's unrealistic!" a man protested. Everything that came out of their mouths was true. Boss did make a butt load of money. And no one has manners back home. Not even Dragneel himself. Well I guess it depends.

The sound of heavy boots smacking against a wooden surface caused me to stop wandering with my thoughts and focus up on the stage.

A man with blue spiky hair stood behind a tall wooden pedestal. He wore a black tux but the top was unbutton just enough to turn his outfit edgy looking. Above his right eye was a tattoo no one could describe. His smirk made him look more evil than he already did. He coughed a little to get the attention of the crowd. He left the microphone resting on the pedestal. He glanced over papers that laid on the pedestal. He quickly picked up some note cards and walked away from the pedestal.

"Attention!" he began. "Hello and welcome to this evenings slave auction!" His words rung in my head. Did I really get the address wrong? Damn it. Today's the deadline too... Boss is going to be so pissed if we don't bring him back anything. I glanced over at Gray and Gajeel to see that they didn't take their eyes off the stage.

I looked back up to see the man looking back at his note cards. He struggled to find the right card. I forced my body off the wall and gestured Gray and Gajeel out.

"Wait!" The man from the stage yelled over the chatter. The room was dead silent. Once again all eyes were on us. The man at the stage grinned in happiness.

"Aha! I know what will win you 3 over!" He shuffled through the cards more and motioned people from back behind the curtain. You could hear boots smack against wood as metal being scraped across the floor. A large box covered with a ratty old sheet draped over it came into vision. A bulky man in torn clothes and a bandana tied around his head pushed the box in the middle of the stage. The muscular man turned back around and off the stage. The man on stage with the edgy tux, did a little cough to get everyone's attention. My eyes fixed on the box."Does he really sell slaves for a living?! " I think to myself. He clenched the sheet over the box revealing the bottom of a steel cube object.

"Presenting," He began. He yanked the sheet off leaving my eyes shocked. He revealed a young, weak woman with bruises and cuts scattered throughout her body."Miss Lucy Heartfilia! Heir of business man Jude Heartfilia!" The girl's mouth was stuffed with a cloth that tied around her head. Another cloth was tied around her eyes keeping her from seeing the perverted men in the crowd. She wore a torn up white gown that hugged her hourglass body figure. The dress barely covered her ass. And her golden hair... her golden hair was draped over her shoulders so beautifully. It was the only thing in good condition. It looked shiny and smooth. She moved her feet to get comfortable. Her moving revealed shackles on her ankles. They scraped against the steel cage. Her arms were pulled back behind her. I'm guessing her hands were tied to one of the bars behind her.

"We'll start the bid at 1,000 jewel!" The man on stage yelled over the snickers. A sign popped out from the crowd.

"1,250!" a woman called from the crowd. Multiple signs raised after that.

"1,500!" someone screamed.

"3,000!" a man yelled.

"5,000!" A hoarse voice yelled. Gasps filled the room. Lucy started banging her body up against the cage walls while  screaming in fear through the cloth.

"5,000 going once..," the man on stage smirked. I looked at Lucy pressing herself up against the bars trying to escape. The business man kicked her cage causing her to stop.

"Going twice..," I felt like his voice was getting more intense. I glance down at Gray's hand that held the auction sign. Gajeel and Gray turned away and began walking toward the door. I bit my lip and looked back at the stage. I reached out and yanked the sign out of Gray's hand.

"What the hell-"

"7,000!" I yelled cutting Gray off and shooting the sign up in the air. The man on stage smirked. I returned a face of anger at him alongside a death glare.

"Going once, going twice... Sold to the young man in blue! Do you wish of my men to bring her down?" He asked while narrowing his eyes at me.

"N-no! My men will take her from here! Gajeel! Gray! Go fetch her and take her to the car!" I shouted commandingly. I felt like the boss of them... Oh wait, I am because Natsu left ME in charge! Gray and Gajeel walked up on to the stage while Mr. Slave Seller, had finished attaching a paper to one of the bars of the steel cage. Gajeel pulled out the cash from his pocket and handed it to the slave seller. He snatched it from his hand and slid it in his pant pocket. Gray and Gajeel bent down and picked up Lucy's cage and wobbled a little. I'm guessing it was the steel cage but it could be Lucy. They stepped down the steps that faded into a walkway to the door. As they pass me carrying the age Gray gives me a sour look and continues walking. I trail behind them to the exit. I cut in front them and push the door open and let Gray and Gajeel walk through with the cage. I pull out the keys to the black van with black tinted windows and unlock it. I open the back seat door as Gajeel and Gray toss the cage with Lucy in it on to the seat.

"Why don't you kick her in the stomach while you're at it." I say with sarcasm. Lucy flinches at my words thinking it wasn't a joke. I close the door and toss Gray the car keys.

"We wouldn't be having this conversation if we just got Mr. Numbskull his damn painting." Gray sassed. I swear he can be as cold as ice sometimes. I open the door to the opposite back seat than Lucy and her cage. I yank the seat belt across my chest and turn and stare at Lucy's golden hair. A smirk appears on my face.

"Natsu will love you much more than a damn painting " I think to myself.
