Allow yourself to fall.
Fall hard;
feel the wind rush through his hair
to your fingertips,
kiss the clouds with the fire
in your stomach when you touch;
it's okay to mistake his eyes for the sky.See the world through a clear lens,
never letting the darkness keep you
from following the string of light in his veins,
no matter who tells you he's just a pretty little lead to a bottomless black hole.Remember you are a waterfall;
you can let people swim
into the waters of your skin,
you can let them drop a few pearls
into your memory,
but you will always rise again.
