Doc Vale was met at the doors of the darkened saloon.

"I would advise you tell your little puppets to remove themselves from my sight quickly, or I just may have to move them myself."

A woman's gentle laugh came from a darkened corner.

"Ah, my darling Valentin."

She appeared into the faint light.

She was a tall woman, pale and dressed completely in white, her flowing gown following behind her.

Her long black hair fell to her waist and her beautiful pale face was accented by bright red lips.

"Liz. You are as beautiful as ever."

Doc looked around at the six men blocking his way.

"Should I move these insects."

Liz waved her hand.

"Away my pets."

The men scurried back into the darkness.

Liz sat at a table. Immediately a man showed with a wine glass filled with red liquid.

"Come, Valentin, join me."

Doc Vale / Valentin sat at the table.

Liz drank from the glass and licked her lips.

"A good vintage."

"Wraith is free again."

Liz nodded.

"So I heard, but what does that have to do with me. He would not dare enter my domain."

"He has the girl."

Liz closed her eyes.

"How?"

"Busted Gulch. He showed up there. She went looking for her father and he followed her."

Liz threw the wineglass across the saloon, into the darkness.

"Where are they now?"

"Headed for the burial ground I am sure, with Bob after them."

"Can he stop the Wraith?"

Valentin shrugged.

"I don't know. But we both know what will happen if he gets to the burial ground."

"What of the Indians?"

"Someone, or something, has been killing off the KitKat Nation. Their people are scattered. Their best warriors slaughtered."

He put his hand on Liz's.

Immediately he was grabbed on the shoulder.

"You dare touch our Queen."

Valentin turned, snarling.

His face began to change. Long fangs dropped from his jaws and his free hand began to extend, long, sharp claws, extruding.

"Enough," Liz shouted, as she stood.

Valentine grabbed the huge man behind him.

"Touch me again and I will eat your heart."

Liz walked to Valentin and kissed him on the cheek.

"Let the poor dear go, before you give him a heart attack."

Valentin tossed him across the room like a doll.

He turned back to Liz.

"All of us are in danger if the Wraith uses the girl. All of the Immortals will die."

"Then we have to stop him."

She began walking away, but then stopped.

She turned back to Valentin.

"Or we will have to kill the girl."
