Caesar Shift Cipher is one of the most simplest and known ciphers in the world . It shifts other line of the alphabet so that A=B , B=C (shift 1) . And in order to decipher it , you just have to reverse the process . This shift can be varied from Rot 1 to Rot 25 which is the maximum . Because shifting it up to ROT 26 will make A=A again .
This cipher is very easy to generate and decode . I even used this cipher during the Barangay and SK elections where I wrote down all of the candidates that I am going to vote and ciphered it . That is because even if I lost my list or someone peeks on it they will have no idea what was written . It is only me who could understand it . Isn't it amazing ? ^_~
