"You guys ready?" Mr. Schue asked.

"NO," almost everyone replied as they sat and the announcer spoke.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to the 2013 National Show Choir Championship!! And here are your hosts!!"

"There are hosts this year?" Marley asked.

"Apparently," Mr. Schue replied.

The crowd roared as Neil Patrick Harris, Norbert Leo Butz, and Idina Menzel came out on stage.

"How are you all doing?" Neil exclaimed, and the crowd roared even louder.

When it died down, Idina said, "Welcome, everybody! I'm Idina Menzel."

"I'm Norbert Leo Butz," Norbert continued.

"And I'm the only one you'll recognize, Neil Patrick Harris," Neil finished. "Tonight is gonna be LEGEN—wait for it..."

"NEIL," Norbert and Idina complained at the same time.

"Come on, you saw that coming."

"Anyways, we have a great show for you tonight," Idina spoke, "so sit back and enjoy!"

Jesse St. James was walking around in the lobby, looking for Rachel. He ended up seeing Mr. Schue walking up to him.

"She's not here."

"Why the hell not?" Jesse asked. "I thought she was helping you guys."

"She went back to New York two weeks ago." Mr. Schue then patted him on the shoulder and guided him inside. "So, you're coaching again?"

Jesse nodded. "And we have a POWERHOUSE tonight. Do you know who Colleen Ballinger is?"

"Of course."

"Her sister, Amanda, goes to Carmel High, and she is AMAZING. I think you'll be suprised."

As the two were seated, Amanda came out and the music started.

Amanda:
There was a time when men were kind

When their voices were soft
And their words inviting
There was a time when love was blind
And the world was a song
And the song was exciting
There was a time
Then it all went wrong

I dreamed a dream in times gone by
When hope was high
And life worth living
I dreamed that love would never die
I dreamed that God would be forgiving

Then I was young and unafraid
And dreams were made and used and wasted
There was no ransom to be paid
No song unsung
No wine untasted

But the tigers come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they tear your hope apart
And they turn your dream to shame

Jesse was right: Mr. Schue WAS surprised.

He slept a summer by my side
He filled my days with endless wonder
He took my childhood in his stride
But he was gone when autumn came

And still I dream he'll come to me
That we'll live the years together
But there are dreams that cannot be
And there are storms we cannot weather
I had a dream my life would be

So different from this hell I'm living
So different now from what it seemed
Now life has killed
The dream I dreamed
