Window View (Incomplete)

"Lani I'm about take Jessie to the daycare . If you need a ride to school , Kaleb is willing to take you." I heard my father's voice . I could've sworn he was speaking in my dream so I continued to lay there , allowing his voice to soothe me .

"Okay." I responded .

"He's gone to the store but he'll be back shortly." I then realized that it wasn't a dream when his lips came into contact with my forehead .

"Wait daddy , what did you say?" I rose up , rubbing the crust out of my eyes .

"Kaleb is taking you to school." He saids as he rocks Jessie . She was blowing miniature spit bubbles while hitting his chest

"W-why not Tre? Can she take me to school?"

"If you catch her before she leaves." He shrugs . He grabs his car keys and wallet then pinched my nose .

"I'll see you later . Be good at school." He yelled as he entered the hallway .

I hurriedly grabbed the house phone and dialed Tre's number . I repeatedly said a prayer , hoping God would make her answer the phone .

"Hello?" She finally answers .

"Tre!" I sighed a morning breath of relief . "Tre can-" I was suddenly interrupted by her voicemail .

"What's up . Obviously I'm not able to come to the phone right now . Just leave a message and I'll catch you later."

My heart sulked to my stomach . I called multiple times but she still haven't answered .

Realizing that I was wasting time , I ran into my bedroom to gather some clothes then I ran back into the bathroom , locking and closing the door . I decided to try and catch the bus  five blocks away from here .

I hopped in the shower for ten minutes then I washed my face and brushed my teeth .

I applied lotion to my tanned brown skin , shortly getting dressed afterwards . I simply brushed my puffy hair into a ponytail . I opened the door simoutaenously picking up my dirty clothes and towels .  Just when I stood to walk out , my body was jerked back while a strong hold was gripping my arms . I dropped my clothes as my eyes widen at the sight of him . He was purely aggravated and upset . It's sad to say that I know I'm the reason why .

"You thought you was slick huh?"  His baritone voice filled the spacious bathroom . My body begins to shake .

"Ain't nobody gone touch you . Are you ready?" He asks .

I nodded my head , shocked by his response .

"Let go." He nods his head towards the front door . I gladly took that opportunity and ran out the bathroom . I placed my dirty clothes into the dirty clothes basket then I grabbed my backpack .

As I was exiting my home , I noticed that he was standing by his car door waiting on me . I didn't say anything . I just got inside his car and put on my seatbelt .

He finally got inside the car . "You locked the door?" He asks as he started the car . I nodded .

He pulls out the driveway and started going into the direction of my school . The ride there wasn't long .

He stops the cat then turns to me . I unattached my seatbelt and mumbled thank you but he stopped me by gripping my thigh .

"Where's my kiss?" He smirks .

I nervously swallowed my spit . I quickly leaned over and landed a kiss on his cheek .
