Window View (Incomplete)

I spent a night over Tre's house . She was disturbed and disappointed at her sister for throwing a party here . It's not necessarily the fact that she threw a party , it's the fact that she was completely out of the zone , drunk and high while people were snooping around her place . That what made Tre mad so she forced everyone to leave .

I was laying across her bed with her earphones placed in my ear , listening to my favorite artist Childish Gambino . He's inspirational and interesting in a way .

I watched as Tre veins popped through her neck , giving me the conclusion that she was yelling . Most likely at her oldest sister , Jameisha . I would take the earphones out and listen in on the chaos but I decided against it and continued on with my vibe .

Tre slams the door and leaps into the bed , laying next to me . She takes the left earphone out of my ear and placed it in hers .

"Are you okay?" I turned to her .

"Yea." She briefly closed her eyes , positioning both of her hands behind her head . She seemed relaxed now and I'm glad . We sat in silence for at least an hour .

"Do your dad know that you're over here?"

"He should." I shrugs . I'll rather live here anyway . My plan was to graduate , go to college then take custody of Jessie . That's only if Kaleb is still living with my dad . I don't want him taking her innocence like he took mine . I refuse . Still thinking back on that day bring tears to my eyes .

"What's wrong love?"

I cursed under my breath and wiped my fallen tears away . "I'm fine."

"This song isn't that deep." She jokes . I chuckled and rolled my eyes . I wanted so badly to vent to my cousin about the nightmare that I'm going through at home . She knows of my mother and she knows the stress thats piled on my father's shoulder but she doesn't know the monster who forces himself in me majority of the time .

"I hope it's okay that I just want to lay in for today." She yawns .

"That's fine." I stared off to the opened window that invited the sun rays to come through . I grabbed her cellphone and called my dad to let him know that I was okay . He answered on the first ring .

"Hello?" He answers eagerly .

"Hey dad." I stretched .

"Are you still at Trimise's house?"

"Yes sir." I nodded as if he could see me .

"Good , good." He voice fades .

"How's Jessie?" I wanted to have small talk with him .

"She's good . Just eating up everything." He lightly chuckles . I did as well .

"You know you have school tomorrow so be home before nine . Okay?"

"Okay dad."

"I love you."

"I love you too." We disconnected the call . I rolled over on my side so I could fall asleep but I was interrupted by my body being shook .

"What Tre?" I growled .

"A friend is coming over , okay?" By the way she pronounced friend , I knew she was inferring a boy .

"A boy?"

"Yes." She replies .

"Okay." I shrugged as i climbed underneath her cover and closed my eyes .
