“Are you sure you’re alright you seem quiet”

“I’m always quiet”

“Indeed you are but you haven’t asked me a single question”

I laughed at his statement “sorry” I was fine, I guess it was Erick who kept popping in my mind and I couldn’t get that look in his eyes out of my head, my curiosity was starting to get the better of me.

“No need to apologise” he ruffled my hair and I smacked it away playfully causing him to laugh

If the situation was different I would ruffle his hair back but there would be no point, Chris towered over me like seriously what is with everyone, since when did 5’8 become the new dwarf height? Looking at Chris it was pretty obvious that he was taller than Erick too.

Interrupting me from my thoughts Chris spoke “So do you like scary movies?”

“Love them” I lied but how scary could it be

“Could you please shut up?” I sat in the passenger seat shaking tears still coming from my eyes but I wasn’t crying anymore

Chris kept silent instantly biting on his lip aggressively probably trying to stop himself from laughing. He stared intensely at the road ahead of him as I watched him carefully, he was slowly turning red and I guess he couldn’t hold it in anymore because now he was laughing really hard, he looked at me and noticed my annoyed expression

“I’m sor-sor” he couldn’t even bring himself to finish his sentence

“Whatever” I crossed my arms and looked out of the window. That had to be the most embarrassing experience ever. We were sitting at the back enjoying the movie well Chris was and bang! Out of nowhere a man is slitting this girl’s throat and next you know I'm screaming and running out like a loser.

“Your absolutely adorable, you know that Max?” he sighed contently and when I looked at Chris he looked happy like really happy if that made sense

[Chris’ POV]

“So make yourself at home” I told Max as he shuffled awkwardly into my house like he always did, my room is the door on left, let’s go in there, taking a quick turn he slowly opened my door.

“Wow this is clean” he looked around the room in astonishment

“Yeah I'm bit of clean freak” I looked away embarrassed slightly

“No it’s cool” he smiled warmly at me taking a seat on the floor, I was a bit surprised since there was a bed and a sofa but hey maybe he liked to sit on the floor, I joined him sitting next to him, I watched him as he continued to look around the room
