Liam's P.O.V
I am so confused. Why did my father react that way after my mother demanded he connect with the Omega? Why did he stutter like that? And why was my father so shaken and scared after the Omega say he wanted to finish his movie? What does my mother, father and Denise know that the rest of us don't? So many questions that I do not have answers for.
It's my birthday today, Friday. The incident happened on Monday and we still can't get over it. Dad has also commanded us not to hurt the Omega or we will suffer the consequences, that means I haven't been releasing stress at all.
"Happy birthday, brother." I heard both my sisters say as they both came in my room and started jumping on my bed.
"Yeah yeah, I know." I sighed and got up before pushing them out of my bedroom. I already know what they want, they want to be the first ones to know who my mate is even though they know I will find her tonight.
I went into my bathroom and did my morning routine before going downstairs for breakfast. The Omega gave me a plate full of every kind of meat on it, I looked at him but he didn't want to look up. What happened to the bad boy that scared my father to the point where he fell on his butt?
My family came down at that moment and wished me a happy birthday. The Omega served them their food and smiled at my mother, the only person he ever makes eye contact with in my family.
"You don't have to do any of this, Om- Niall." Dad said but the Omega ignored him and continued on with his job.
"Niall honey, you can leave all of this and sit down with us." Mom said.
"I'm fine Luna. I have a lot to do today. The future Alpha's birthday party isn't going to plan itself and I have to serve the rest of the house." He replied.
"Oh, we're back to Luna." Mom mumbled with a sad tone. Why is she sad that he called him Luna? "I'll finish up, go get ready to school." Mom said.
"Thank you." The Omega said and was about to leave. "Just know that whatever happens, I love you and I'm very thankful for all you've done for me. Thanks for being my mother and telling me about my parents, I would've really liked to meet them." He glanced at me and then left. What was that?
I turned to my mother and saw she was looking at me with tears in her eyes. What's going on? Why are they looking at me. "Please be careful." She whispered and then stood up to leave.
"Dad, what happened with Niall the other day? Why did you freak out like that?" I asked him.
"N-nothing!" He cleared his throat. "Happy birthday, son. Enjoy your day." He rushed out and basically ran out of the kitchen.
"Am I the only one who believes that our parents and that blond girl are hiding some very important info about Niall?" Ruth asked. My sisters were never mean to the Omega, but they never really paid attention to him either.
"No, you're not. We all believe that but I'm gonna go to school and not stress about it." I stood up and left for school, leaving my sisters wondering.
I met up with Brandon by my car and we got in and I started driving to school. "Sophia is going through with her plans, but I'll try to keep her busy when you find your mate. The witch can only do the spell on the exact time of your birth but she can't do that without Sophia there." Brandon said to me.
"Thank you." I said to him. He is about to lose his mate because of me and he's willing to protect me so I can live happily ever after with my mate.
"No problem." He said as I parked. "Ready for this?" He asked when we got out and began walking to the building.
"I have no choice." I said and prepared to be smothered by my peers for my birthday.
