Πάνω από τη θάλασσα του Brooklyn το ρολόι χτύπησε μεσάνυχτα.
Η Niveus επισκέπτεται τη μάγισσα Magiline προκειμένου να της αφεραίσει τις δυνάμεις της για να τις δώσει στον ετοιμοθάνατο αδελφό της.Εκεί γνωρίζει τον Aether,έναν πληγωμένο και πεισματάρη Δαμαστή που της κινεί το ενδιαφέρον.Δεν θα αργήσει να της γνωρίσει έναν κόσμο γεμάτο μυστήρια,από τον οποίο η Niveus νόμιζε πως είχε ξεφύγει.
Η φωτιά κάποτε έκαιγε στις φλέβες της κάνοντά τη αυτό που ήταν-Δαμάστρια.
