Melaine Pov

"It's a little freakier than I remember from the story. Reminds me of death"Emma said as we walked up to the beanstalk. "Encouraging"I said sarcasticly " "well your compose awaits,shall we"said Hook. "Wait if theese beans create portals why not just pick one and go home?why the compose"Emma asked. "Because there aren't anymore beans. Whatever story you think you know my dear,is most certainly wrong"said Hook. "There was a guy named Jack and a cow and something about an evil giant with a treasure and a golden goose or harp"said Emma. I chuckled because that was no where near to what really happened. "Sounds like a lovely tale,but the truth's a little bit more gruesome. The giants grew the beans but rather use them for good they used them to plunder all the lands. Jack was a man who fought a terrible war defeating all but one of the evil giants. The beans were destroyed as the by the giants as they died,if they couldn't have the magic then nobody could. It's really very bad form"said Hook. "Evil giants who made magic portal beans? Why doesn't anyone go up and grow some more?"Emma asked. "Because one giant survived the strongest and most terrible of them all and we have to get past him to"Hook said as he was inturrupted by Snow"The magic compass"Snow said "indeed. The treasure remains,and amongst it is the compass."Hook said "and the compose will guide you to your land. Cora is going to open the portal with the wardrobe ashes but,she can't find your land without the compass."I said "and once we get it we steal the ashes from her and we're on our way"Hook said "how do we know you guys are not using us to get the compass for Cora?"Mulan said "because you four are far safer company all we need is a ride back we'll swear allegiance to whomever gets us there first"said Hook."Then we'd better start climbing"said Emma "right so the beanstalk is enchanted to repel intruders"I said "alright so how do we get up there?"Emma asked "We've got a counter spell from Cora"I said "but you need to untie Hook". Snow sighed and walked over there to untie Hook. "Thank you milady"he said as he started to get things situated in his satchel "Got one more of theese"Hook said knocking on the cuff that was on his arm "Cora was to accompany us"I said "so which one of you four lovelies shall take her place?"Hmm go on fight it out don't be afraid to you know really get into it"Hook said."I'll do respect I'm the best-equipped to go. How many wars have you been through?"Mulan said "my share"said Snow "it should be me"said Aurora "you?you haven't fought in a battle."said Mulan "this is about getting home to our loved ones. Why would you.."Snow said "because I have no loved ones. If I fail you can still go on"said Aurora "it's me,I'm going and I'm not going to fail"said Emma. "Wow,I didn't know all of them wanted to risk their lives that badly"I whipered to Hook and he chuckled. Then Emma walked over to us "so you're going?"I asked Emma "yeah"she said and Hook put the cuff on her wrist. Then we started to climb the beanstalk we were maybe halfway up when I started falling a little behind "come on Melaine your falling a bit behind"called out Hook. I used my magic to poof my self to where they were at "wait can't you just poof us all up at the top?"Emma asked "it would be a waste of strength and plus I can't poof my self a million miles up in the sky I can however do it on the ground but straight up that takes practice"I said. Emma nodded. It wasin't till hours later that we reached the top "we made it"I said "wait your hand love"Hook said gesturing to Emma's hand "it's just a scratch"said Emma "but giants can smell blood"Hook said getting out his rum to put it on her hand "whoa,don't put that rum on her hand it will just burn more why don't we try magic"I said grabbing Emma's hand and healing it "thank you"said Emma "you're welcome"I said "so what's the plan"I asked Hook "we wait for the giant to fall asleep then we sneek in and get the compass"said Hook "but thats too long it will take longer to wait for the giant to fall asleep"said Emma "I agree with Emma maybe I can put a sleeping spell on him"I said "wait I have poppies Mulan gave them to me we should use them"said Emma. We thought of a lovely plan to get the giants attention and put him down to sleep for a while Hook and I started to bang on this sheild really loud to get his attention.THUMP THUMP the giants foot steps were like an earthquake. Then I poofed myself to where Emma was. "Oh.Hey. You big git yeah you huh? do you wanna kill a human?"Hook said distracting the giant "this is our chance"I whispered to Emma and she smacked him the poppies and the giant callapsed "Hook,Hook"Emma yelled "he's out cold.Don't want to disapoint you but we make quite a team"Hook said Emma sighed "Lets go steal a compass"I said and poofed Emma and I down and walked into te giants cave or home whatever you want to call it. "They hoarded all their great and stolen treasures in here. Piles of jewls and every room filled with coins"said Hook while we were walking through the treasure "I don't remember signing up for a history lesson about giant treasure"I said. Emma laughed a bit "then lets get to it,the compass"Emma said "what's the rush"asked Hook "how long do you think that magic knock out powder lasts?"asked Emma "I have no clue"said Hook "about an hour if it was a regular sized person it would several hours but a giant I would say an hour or less"I said "that's my rush"said Emma. "Too right lass. Come everything we need is right infront of us"said Hook as we started looking for the compass. "How are we going to find a compass in this mess"asked Emma "by looking start searching. I wonder how much treasure we could carry down the beanstalk,in addition to the compass of course"said Hook "what the hell"said Emma looking down at a skeliton "that would be Jack"said Hook "as in"Emma said "the giant killer"said Hook "that toothpick?"Emma asked "well,it packs quite a wallor you'd be surprised"Hook said and started walking backwards "whoa,whoa,whoa"Emma said and went to grab Hook out of the way "it's about bloody time"Hook said "it's a trip wire,quite a security system"Emma said "well that's a possible excuse for grabbing me. But next time don't stand on ceremony"Hook said."Lets find the compass and go home"Emma said "after you"she gestured to walk over the trip wire. I just poofed myself over it because it was much easier. "So it's just in here somewhere?"Emma said "allegedly,give me a boost would you love"Hook said "so I can't see what you're protecting no way. "Oh know,hide get under something"I said. While I poofed myself to a high ledge close to the ceiling. Even though parts of the ceiling were falling down almost crushing Hook. Then the giant picked up Emma. "I'm not what you think!"Emma cried "you're a theif and you poisoned me so yeah, I'm pretty sure you're exactly what I think"said the giant. "No look you have a compass I need it!"Emma said "I don't car what you need"said the giant "no,it's for my son to save my son! Don't you have a family?"Emma said "no,because humans killed them all"said the giant while squeesing Emma until she bit him "ahh"said the giant dropping Emma she ran to where the trip wire was and picked up a sword she cut the trip wire and the giant was trapped in the cage "nice security system efficient"Emma said and pointed the sword to the giants face "no,no,no,no,no"said the giant "I can tell by your face you know what this is let me guess it's dipped in some sort of poison. You have a compass I need it"Emma said "you're going to kill me either way go ahead kill me"said the giant "you don't know me"said Emma "I know your kind they massacred us and destroyed our beans"said the giant "I heard it thr other way"said Emma "because the victors get to tell te story"said the giant and Emma pointed the sword at him again "okay!stop!.here"said the giant and handed Emma the compass. "See I'm not the bad guy"said the giant "maybe you are telling the truth doesn't really matter. I have to go are there anymore of you?"Emma asked "no,I'm alone"said the giant "what's this is it a bean? can this make a portal?"Emma asked "not anymore it was destroyed like the rest of them. Then the giant busted ou of th cage and smashed a hole in the wall an exit to be exact. "Go"said the giant "why"Emma asked "because you could've killed me and you didn't. You get one favor now go before I change my mind"said the giant. Emma walked out I was about to poof myself but then she turned around "actually I get two favors"said Emma "what"said the giant "well the way I see it I could've killed you twice the poison and then when you were knocked out. I didn't"said Emma "what do you want?"asked the giant. Then Emma went to go get Hook. "You are bloody brilliant amazing may I see it the compass"Hook said Emma pulled the compass out of her pocket "it's more beautiful than legend"Hook said and Emma put it back in her pocket "come lets go"said Hook then Emma handcuffed him "what are you doing?"asked Hook "Hook I I can't"Emma stuttured "Emma,look at me when have I ever told you a lie? I brought you here I risked my own safety to help you. The compass is in your hand why do this to me now?"Hook asked "I can't take a chance that I'm wrong about you. I'm sorry"Emma said "you're sorry,you're sorry I got you here I got you the compass"Hook cried "I got the compass"Emma said "you're just going to leave me here to die? have that beast eat me to crush my bones?"Hook said. "He's not a beast,and you're not going to die I just need a head start that's all"Emma said and walked out. "Swan!"Hook yelled.Then I poofed myself to him "I guess Emma forgot about me"I said and let Hook out of the handcuffs. He smiled "Can you poof us to Cora?"Hook asked I nodded and poofed us to where Cora was at.
