"I can't believe I'm performing at the Grammys tonight!" I basically scream into the phone.

"Oh my god...im so nervous" I say sighing. "Don't worry you'll do great Lo!" Ally says excited into the phone.

"I really hope so."  "Anyway I've gotta go I have rehearsals" I continue.

"Okay bye Lo"

"Bye" hanging up the phone I groan loudly out of frustration. getting up I start to walk up stares.

I get inside my room, walk over to the closet and grab a long navy blue and red flannel dress. I hope this is good enough just for rehearsals. Look though my shoe collection I find the perfect pare,black platinum boots that have slits on the side. Checking the time I realise it's 10:36am
My rehearsal slot happens to be at 11:20am-12:57 so I better get going.
I start to text my friend Normani to tell her I'm ready for her to come pick me up.
Before I walk out of my room I go to the dresser and grab the passes for me and Normani to get in along with my purse and the keys to my apartment.

I hear a loud honk and start to rush down stares locking the door before running to the car and sliding into the front seat.
"hey hey" Normani says excitedly

"thank you again for picking me to come with you to the Grammys!"
She smiles

"I would've been ally but she's busy with the play on broadway." I jokingly say.

I look to Normani and she frowns slightly.

"I'm only kidding babe."

"Okay.." I buckle my seat belt and we drive off.

Maybe 15 minutes later we arrive at the venue and park in the back.
After getting out of the car we walk over to the back door where a very large,but friendly looking security guard is.

"can I see your passes " he says in a deep tone.

"Of course" I grab the passes out of my purse and show them to the Guard.

He gives us a small nod and opens the door for us. "thank you" me and Normani say in Union.

We walk down the corridors and run into camila cabello.

"hey camila " I smile

"hey guys ! I haven't seen you guys in a while." She's gives a small smile which I return, she's so beautiful.

"yeah it's good to see you again but we gotta go" Normani says after giving camila a smile."alright see you girls around" she waves at us.

Walking away Normani and I start to talk about the time we first met her

"remember you were totally blushing when she called you beautiful."Normani giggles

"shut up that was like last year" I nudge her.

"I Bet you like her " Says normani

"no way,Normani we've only talked twice in our lives this being the second time are you crazy ? "

I ask "maybe" we continue to walk down the halls finally making it inside of the arena. We start to walk back stage to see my Manager."hello Christina" I say "hello girls" she waves

"Lauren are you ready for rehearsal? We've already got the equipment set up you just have to do sound check and then rehearsal you're song a couple of times" she says

"yeah sure. Mani you can have a seat up in front row" I point to the seats I front of the main stage. "alright" Normani walks to the seats and sits down taking her phone out.

She's probably texting her manager about how I asked her to open for me on tour this summer. I smile and walk to the front of the stage after grabbing my microphone and ear piece. I turn on my microphone and start to sing.
