The music was quite loud for my ears, the only thing I could do was wonder how these noisy people with unsettled souls could listen to such music which is'int even music.

The only reason I am here is beacause of my beloved sister who is'int so beloved to me right now. She is screaming and jumping while I'm here in the corner of the room next to exit wondering how she can enjoy this noise. The crowd is so stuffing and sweaty like a crowd of hungry nomadic people . The lead guitarist has shown his skill of moving his finger across the frett board elegantly making unacceptable noise which seems to be more than acceptable to this crowd.

My sister came screaming to me

"hey, how awesome was jake?"

"who is that?" I was quite suspicious, I didn't want her to have another boyfriend who breaks her heart easily like the last one did.

"Th...the guy from the band...the one playing the guitar?" she asked surprised. But seriously why does she think I would know him, It is not like he is my neighbour or something, right?

"Yeah that one...the one who made a lot of noise" I said uninterested

"Noise? You call that noise? That is the best rock show that has ever been performed and you call that noise?" She was so pissed with me and it showed on her face so clearly.

"To me it is noise and to you it is music. Lets leave it at that, alright?" I said handing over a helmet to her.

"Yeah, whatever" She got on to the scooter and put on her helmet . I am pretty sure she is upset because she couldn't share her excitment with someone. She should have known better, she knows I hate rock.

My sister and I have a complicated relationship. I love her but not her "qualities". She falls in love too easily and gets her heart broken even easier. I hate that more than I hate her taste in music. This girl really needs to learn to "dense" up.
I drove home without acknowledging her irritstion.

"Now, get lost" I said parking my moped inside the garage.
"Look, you can take me to the twenty one pilots concert next week, I forced you to come to this one. I'll come, I swear, please be nice."

"Twenty one pilots doesn't need people who don't appreciate their music in their concert hall"

She made a puppy face to fake "fake sadness" but I could see through that. She was upset and I didn't like it one bit.
I went through my gym bag in front of me and picked out my ipod and handed it to her.

"Vessel. Listen to that album. I don't want you to be clueless."
She smiled cheerfully and hugged me.
"I may not say this often but I love you"
It's one of those rare moments when you talk about feelings and all with your sibling. I hugged her back with a smile thst was more genuine than my irritation.
"Love you too, night. Dinner is on the table. Eat before you go to bed."
"Argh!!"

"What?" I asked annoyed.

"You are ordering me around, again." She said sighing.

Memories came rushing back. Memories that I wanted to keep buried in my past.
Merlie lay on our mosaic tiled bathroom floor looking lifeless. It caught me off guard and I felt pain crushing me inside my chest.
I called 911 with shaking hands while still holding my lifeless sister in my hands.
She had fainted from food deprivation. I felt anger blazing through my skin.
She and her long time boyfriend had broken up 2 weks back. She was sad and depressed in the usual "post break up" way which I was used too. Even through all that normality, I could sense that something was wrong. She rarely ate and when she did, it was not enough to fill a person's stomach. I learnt from her diary entry that Derek, her ex, had broken up with her becsuse she was putting on weight. She had gagged herself to puke after every meal. That night, reading her diary made me want to kill that son of a bitch. I am not letting that happen ever again.

"I'm sorry, I trust you. Eat if you're hungry" I said with understanding. She was healing and I needed to give her the trust and space she needed.
"I am hungry, I'll eat before I go to bed" she said and hopped out of the garage.

I couldn't wait for next week, the concert of my dreams! I saved money and worked extra shifts in the vet hospital just for thst day. Merlie was coming too!!
