I was still sitting on the porch after Will and Alex had left, then I heard the door open and Alex stepped out.
"Ange, I really need to tell you something, very important."
"Ok, what is it?"
"It's something I have to tell you that I hope will change your mind about marrying William."
"Alex, I......"
"Just hear me out, please, Angie."
He begged with his eyes, pleading. I had to give in.
"Fine!"
"Ok here it goes................................William has five other wives, none of them are the queen, and he treats them like slaves."
"Alex.......I can not believe you would lie to me. Oh wait yes I can! What I don't believe is that I almost fell for another one of your lies. I don't believe you at all. Why would you try to ruin William's life, he would be a good sport if I had chosen you!"
"Angie wait please I'm telling the truth!"
I don't know what came over me, but the next thing I knew my hand had slapped Alex's face leaving his eyes wide with shock as well as mine. I turned and quickly walked in the house before he could say anything else.
