Well, I am gladly hosting a wonderful, Tolkien writing contest. It will be easy, and I'll try my best to make it fun. In this contest, the rounds will depend on how many people join. Each will have different circumstances and tasks to challenge the writers. Entrees will end when I have at least six or seven people, then, the contest will begin. The competitors will then wait for me to post their tasks (on this page) and they will post their finished stories before the given due date with the tag, #Tlkwrites. They must also leave the link to their story in the comments. Now, here is an entree form that you can fill out and PM to me, so that I know and have an organized list of who is competing. This contest will eliminate someone each round. HOWEVER, the first round will be what we might call, a practice round. You will obviously submit your stories, and the judges and I will read them, and talk about them. There will be no winner, and when I see what you have to offer, I will PM on your strong points, and then tell you what I expect from you in the next round. You will then apply that and the real competition will begin. This allows everyone to have a fair chance at doing their utmost best.

Entree Form:

Penname: (Example: EcthelionofGondolin)

Prefered Writing Style: (Example: 3rd Person Literate, 3rd Person, 2nd Person, 1st Person)

Does Someone Proof Read Your Stories? (Example: Yes/No)

How Long Have You Been Writing? (Example: Seven Years)

Are You Up To The Challenge? (Example: Yes/No)

How Much Do You Love Tolkien, 1-10? (Example: OVER 9,000!)

Judges:   Well, as I need help, and I know I can not do this alone, I have selected two other judges along with myself to objectively read, and give opinions on the story. We will then discuss our opinions and agree on who the winner of that round was. No one's placing will be announced to the public, but it will be sent to you by me each time a round is over. And each time a round is over, someone get eliminated. How this will work, is when you post your story, you will not only leave a link in the comments to help me find the story, but you will also you the hashtag, Tlkwrites. And, you will tag each of in the story. This is helpful, because it gives my judges at least three sure ways to get to your story.  My selected Judges are:

SashaSteveBlair

GuardOfMirkwoood

Judges Rules:

1: Read through the story at least twice.
2: You have to be Objective.

For each round, I will have posted, your tasks, and what I am looking for in the finished product. Also, I will specify how long the stories will have to be when I post your task. The contest ends when I have a winner.

Prizes:  As for rewards, I am new to this, so I can't offer much:
1st: A follow and a shoutout, with story critiques. I will also be your Beta Reader (Proof Reader) I will also dedicate a story to you, of your choice.
2nd: A follow, a shout out, and some writing advice.

Restrictions: I speak English and English only. This is open to anyone, however, I can't exactly translate correctly and give you a fair chance. So, only English writers please.
