Prologue-
He wrapped his arm around her waist as he pulled her closer, he smiled as he placed his forehead against hers and whispered "Who are you Carrie Rhodes, really?"
She bit her lip playfully as she kissed him "I'm just a girl who moved next door."
Chuckling, he pulled her close enough that their body's touched, he placed a strand of loose hair behind her ear "You become more mysterious with each time we meet, I just can't figure you out."
She smiled, she wanted to tell him who she was, but that would be foolish, she had spent this much time running, and for what? To tell him she's not who she says she is? No, it's wouldn't be safe, so she just laughed it off "Maybe someday..." She leaned in closer to his face "...you will." With that, she kissed his lips "Goodnight, I'll see you tomorrow." She poked his nose, than backed away slowly, making sure he would watch her every move. What she didn't know was that he was taking in every aspect of her body, her blue and blonde hair, green eyes, pink lips, an hour glass figure, her curves seemed all too fiction, but they were real. I guess that's the difference between everyone on this planet, no two people see someone in the same way, especially if someone is judging themselves.

But once she got to her door, she saw it was unlocked, she closed her eyes, keys in hand "Shit" she whispered under her breath, she turned to Cody, who was smiling and waving to her. She smiled and waved back, she didn't want him becoming involved, it would kill him.
Once he was out of sight, she took a deep breath and walked into her apartment, she saw the reflection of the television bouncing off the wall, she knew she could just turn and run, go to a new town, as she often had; but she made a mistake this time...she got comfortable.
Grabbing the pepper spray from her purse, she walked forward with caution "I'm sorry Cody..." She whispered to herself "I screwed up, I hope you can forgive me..."
Meanwhile, Cody had gone into his house next door and looked out his kitchen window that faced across the street, to see nothing, hmm, he thought to himself, I could have sworn I heard fireworks...
