I just stood there and listened as he insulted me. It's not like I could defend myself because he is the future Alpha. So I stood there and took it all because believe it or not, I had prepared myself for this day, this moment when my mate rejects me. And as if he's reading my mind, he says the words I knew my mate would say once I met them.
"I, Liam James Payne, future Alpha of The Blue Moon Pack, rejects you, Niall James Horan, the Omega of The Blue Moon Pack, as my mate and future Luna." He stated proudly before walking close to me and punching me on the face, which opened the flood gates as other pack members joined in.
He stopped, but the others didn't, and left but before he could disappear from my line of view, he stopped and mind linked me. "And tell anyone about what happened last night, you're dead meat." And then he completely disappeared and I welcomed darkness with open arms.
