Stephanie had forgotten just how warm her house was, walking in she felt warmth take over all her body. Everyone was sitting at the dinner table waiting for the two girls. Once they sat down, everyone started digging in.

The sun was just setting down going to sleep for the day, but before it left completely, it made sure to leave it's last bit of colorful rays behind. The sky was a beautiful yellow, orange with a bit of pink. It was a beautiful sight to take in and an overwhelming feeling to feel. Sometimes we don't cherish the little things like the sky, sun and the moon. When it's gone, you desperately want it back, but it's gone and it will stay that way.
Today, Stephanie learned all this. She knew that this all had to stop, she had to stop hiding and let it be known. She had to take back and fight for what she wanted and needed. She had love, it fucked her up, but that's what love does to you.
It fucks you up.
Hayley had left three hours ago and Stephanie missed her dearly. She couldn't believe Hayley had left her tour just to get on a plane to comfort her. It warmed her heart, but it also let her know that love is shown in many different ways. She thanked Hayley for coming and made her way to the backyard where the girls were already setting up a little bonfire like old times, as Dinah called it.
Three hours had gone by and Stephanie now lied on the grass facing the beautiful sunset, and could still hear the girls laughing and talking. Shaking her head, she giggled, her house had become like a college sorority. Something she would never experience in this life.
"What's got you all smiley" Stephanie sat up and looked up at Halsey, well Ashley since, but since she hated being called Ashley..
"Nothing just laughing" Ashley sat down next to her. Stephanie noticed her long blue hair was now cut shoulder length. Hayley was the first thing Stephanie thought.
"That's fucking weird Steph" Stephanie smiled and turned to Ashley.
"What's with the new hair" Stephanie asked before taking a piece of hair in her fingers. She ran her thumb slowly down the soft hair, it memorized her attention.
"I don't know, just trying out new things" Stephanie nodded and kept admiring it, "you know, it's pretty sexy of you to make love to my hair like that" Stephanie stopped playing with her hair and smiled, Ashley laughed and looked out to the view.
"Ashle-"
"Uh Stephanie. You know how I feel about my name" Stephanie laughed.
"I know that's why I do it" Ashley rolled her eyes and turned to Stephanie. "Why'd you kiss me?" Ashley looked away then back to her. Stephanie could tell that question hit something deep into her.
"You remind me of my ex" Ashley admitted shyly, Stephanie laughed loudly.
"You remind me of mine too" Hayley gasped with her hand on her chest. Stephanie laughed once again.
"I look like Hayley Williams!? IM FUCKIN HONORED!!!" Ashley yelled, Stephanie couldn't help but smile big and laugh again.
Stephanie then thought about ex's, one of them being Demi, she became quiet. Ashley noticed Stephanie's sudden change in mood, she reached for her hand and held it.
"I know your thinking about Demi." Stephanie sighed, "Stephanie, I know you may not want my advice but I'll say it either way"
"Okay"
"May sound harsh, but we both know it's true" Stephanie nodded waiting for Ashley to continue. Ashley pieced all her thoughts together before saying what was on her mind.
"You need to grow some balls" Ashley said as nice as she could.
"I know"
"Seriously Stephanie, you can either sit down and watch her be happy or you can grow some fucking balls and show her what true happiness is!" Stephanie took in Ashley's words, even if she knew all this already she loved the support everyone showed her.
"Thanks Halsey" Ashley smiled at Stephanie's words and looked at her. They both seemed to be leaning in once again. Until Ashley spoke.
"What are you doing to me Stephanie" Stephanie smiled before cupping her cheek.
"You feel it too, don't you?" Nodding, Ashley sighed.
"I have an idea. Come with me" Stephanie told her, standing up, she helped Ashley up before walking towards the house.
"Hey! Where y'all going?! The fun is out here!" Ally yelled stopping them on their track.
"Just need Halsey to fix something she started. We'll be back in a bit" the girl looked at both of them, confused. "Okay bye!" With that, Stephanie pulled Ashley into her soundproof studio and made sure to lock the door behind them.
"Now?" Ashley asked as she took off her jacket, Stephanie nodded and took hers off as well.
